G&D MOTORS Quad ATV SPORT

So, I'm very much not new to SL or riding vehicles here. When I purchased this, I pretty much expected it to have similar options as any other vehicle you buy here, whether you're talking motor cycle or boats, bikes or skateboards, the controls are usually pretty standard.

While this vehicle looks GREAT and I'm super happy with the prim count, it took some doing for me and my friends (I bought one for me, and one for each of them), to figure out how to get this thing going is a little rough. Even when you read the note card, it's not really clear how one is supposed to get started.

To save potential buyers some time, here are a couple of items that I think should be added to the note card - or if nothing else, hopefully some buyers will read this and save themselves some time:

1) Un-check the option of "passenger" before trying to drive - for some reason, when you first get on the ATV, it won't let you drive when you have that checked. By default, it seems to be checked. It took us for EVER, playing around with the menu, to come around to that conclusion.

2) Un-check turbo unless you have really great control ability, internet and computer. It is super hard to control your direction with that checked - we were almost literally flying all over the place until we un-checked that. Also avoid "cruise" option for this reason.

Still haven't figured out reverse ... other control options are also not intuitive.

Once you spend some time figuring these things out though, this vehicle is fun to ride - the "flight" option is really great for when you get stuck someplace where you can't just drive out of.

Color options and controls are also really nice, too!

So, some nice features, but I would suggest to the creator take a closer look at the instructions to clarify a few things, and/or set up the default options on the vehicle so we don't have to mess around just to get the ATV to drive.
