I like it but I cannot from the note card figure out how to see the upper deck canopy...
Or how to close doors..

I haven't tried it with a friend so I haven't seen the animation issue. But it not only handles great but it's easy to use. No complication, sit at the helm and go. Speeds up quickly and easily when you hit forward. I thought it turned plenty fast. Haven't hit anything yet. And I am not a well experienced boater. But the fun of using this boat is making me a hobbyist fast.

This is a REALLY gorgeous boat to look at. It also handles well (it IS a houseboat, not a racing scow). The hideable canopy on the upper deck is a nice touch, as are editable name plates and crests, so you can make it truly your own.

But...

See that cozy table and chairs on the Upper deck? Try having morning coffee there with your sweetheart. You can't. The one who tries to sit second will be thrown down to the helm, which btw, they can't use if they aren't the owner. All the chairs use built-in SL sits (like for sitting on a box), so when you are sitting, you look to be sitting at attention. You can't sit on the toilet, btw, which maybe is a good thing because you also can't open it. There's only a place for one on the bed, so no cuddles.

The whole seating arrangement on the boat is confusing, not to say arcane, and much as I LOVE the look of the boat, my partner and I got really frustrated trying to both sit down at the same table. Between that and the single-occupancy bed, the Suncat isn't nearly as romantic as it looks.

Fortunately, it is MOD, which we appreciate so we can add multisitters and/or an MLPV engine. But I can't help thinking that doing so was really the makers job. I'd've given the boat at least 4 stars, if I wasn't still getting over the frustration.

P.S. What is the point of a no-transfer NC for the manual? Especially when you can cut & paste into a new note card, which is what I had to do to let my partner see how to operate the boat.

Let me start of with the best feature, this boat is modify meaning you can tweak it to your liking. The sit changing animations are great for squatting in the blake sea and for the price you can't complain. If you are looking for a decent house boat look no further.

if luxary yatch or other fully furnitured boat house isn't your thing, the Suncat could be a perfect pick, nothing really impressive but it looks really great. you can change a lot of details on the suncat, if you dont like the paints on the wall, use your pictures. not a fond of the white color ? you cant tint any part of the boat. For 30 land impacts, it perfect to set sail on any part of second life and hang with friends. an other thing apreciable (and sl wanderers and squatters know that) you can change your pose when you re on the helm of the boat, no risk to see the suncat returning in your lost and fond just because you wanted to sit next to a friend or just soak up the sun on the sun bed when you re on your own. and what about the sailing itself, this catamaran house boat isnt the most impressive i saw on sl, but there is a good feeling, and if you dont think the boat turn fast enough you could change it.
