Over time, the food bowl will empty. To tend to your iguanas, simply click on the cage to refill the food and water the plant. Tending to your iguanas is FREE, and anyone can help!

FAQ

Q - Do I need to purchase food for my iguanas?
A - No. Food is included with the cage. To feed your iguanas and water your plant, simply click the cage and select "Tend" from the menu.

To make iguana care simpler for more casual SL players, optional Auto-Feeders are available.

Q - How often do I need to tend my iguanas?
A - When placed into a cage, you must tend your iguanas at least once a week or they will become sick.

Q - Can my friends tend my iguanas?
A - Yes! Anyone can tend your iguanas just by clicking your cage and clicking the "Tend" button on the menu.

Q - Once I have placed my iguana in a cage, can I take it out?
A - No. Once a iguana has been placed into a cage, that will be its forever home.

Q - Oh no! My iguanas are green! What happened?
A - Your iguanas are sick. Simply get Iguana Vitamins and follow the instructions to heal your iguanas.

Q - Will my iguanas become sick in inventory?
A - No. Iguanas in inventory will pause and will not require care unless rezzed in-world.

Q - Do iguanas in carriers need care?
A - No. Iguanas only require care once placed into a cage.

Q - I tended my iguanas through the menu and they are still sick. What happened?
A - If you are sure you tended your iguanas at least once during the week, it was most likely lag. To prevent this, take a moment after clicking "Tend" to verify that food bowl is full.

Q - Can I replace my iguanas?
A - Yes. Once you have 3 iguanas in a cage, you may replace them with different versions individually.

Q - Can I replace my cage plant?
A - Yes. You may Clear your plant through the menu and replant another. Replanting will restart the growing cycle.

Q - Can I breed my iguanas?
A - No. [ free bird ] My Pet Iguanas are not a breedable pet.
