Curio Obscura - Fall Down Go Boom
Do you have an unstable personality? Maybe you do. But is it as unstable as uranium, ready to detonate in a massive fission reaction on impact?
With Fall Down Go Boom, now you will!
When you fall to the ground with a strong enough impact, you impact will set off an explosion resulting in a huge mushroom cloud.
Or a little one. Your choice.
Simply wear Fall Down Go Boom on your HUD then find somewhere high to jump off or just fly up and then drop to the ground. When you hit the ground, a mushroom cloud will rise up.
You can also choose the size and color of your mushroom cloud.
- Fall down hard and explode with a huge mushroom cloud!
- Select size of mushroom cloud!
- Select color of mushroom cloud!
- Makes a big noise too!
Sounds like the creator needs to fix this.
I tried many many MANY times to get this to work, it just doesn't. I am trying it out in a open rez and open script Linden Lab sandbox. Been falling at a height of 3000M, didn't work upon landing. Been changing the Nimble settings multiple times from true to false to see if it makes a difference, still nothing. No matter what i do it refuses to work, doesn't ever rez, and i feel like i wasted my lindens.
I think this thing needs a HUGE update. Something is definitely wrong. No matter what i change or do it won't work.
Doesn;t work without hoop-jumping
Doesn;t work. I hear the sound, no visual. The instructions mention turning off "soft landings" but even that doesn;t help. And if you have to change anything with graphics settings then fine, but then only you will see it, no one else.
It's fun idea, but apparently, very old creation as the grid has advanced in tech, but this thing hasn;t been updated to keep up. Furthermore: it requires rezzing, and THAT is kind of a sucky thing as most places in SL where this thing would be funniest are no-rez zones.
Perhaps the creator (if they still exist in SL) should update it so that 1) it doesn;t require rezzing and 2) actually works without any hoop-jumping in viewer or AO settings. 250L I would just consider it a loss without a word, 300L loss earns a sour review. Sorry, sometimes the truth hurts.
BUT I did give it an extra star for the concept, because it's a great fun idea.
