Still an adorable avatar to this day!
It's clear the lower star reviews are self entitled kids that want hard work hand outs for free, when they do not understand hard work of something original. Free blacklist to ban them honestly and spare yourselves the headache.
This avatar is a FULL mesh avatar. Which is becoming uncommon to get in Second Life sadly. A demo of this is a simple preview of what you will get, if you pay for full price that is cheaply priced for 100% original mesh work, with original made by hand textures and scripts. It's really small and highly customizable. Very expressive. I only wished it had more 3rd party support but that's not a big deal really.
Lower the price and I'd buy it
Cute albeit limited
3 year old avatar for 3000L$? ? ? ?
Yes this Avatar is 3 years old if anyone is wondering.
At one point there was a release party. I am not kidding. Where you could of bought the avatar for L$350 for a very limited time "I believe it only lasted for a week"
And shortly after it was being sold for 3000L$ that is darn near a 900% increase. Now I understand how a newly released item goes on sale for a limited time. And while that's cool and all. But it leaves a bad taste to other customers who missed their chance on a release party / sale.
The avatar is nice. But after being available for 3 years with the same 3000L$ price is a bit too steep when you can get Bento Mesh Bodies for the same price, Maitreya, Belleza, Etc.
You could also dump 100L$-150L$ on a gacha avatar and get something just as cute for much less value wise.
3 whole years, and the price never dropped. Realistically I can see this avatar being sold for 1200L$ tops and you'd be getting more hits on sales than you would selling it for 3000L$.
It's the steep price that detour people from buying it. They're are some content creators out there that have stuff for this avatar who are aware for the lack of sales to be made due to its high cost, Which customers are not willing to pay for.
The avy is nice and cute don't get me wrong, but me and my friend both agree quote "It's cute but not 3000 linden cute."
Honestly you should consider in lowering the price. It's been 3 years since this avy is out.
High quality, but crazy prize :/
5 stars for high quality, minus 2 stars for the price
I really like this avatar, but it has its flaws and the price of 3000L for a tiny and non-humanoid avatar is too much.
I'm sure many other people are held back by buying it because of its price and, frankly, if the price was halved, more than twice as many people would buy it.
I want this AV! XD
So glad there was a demo to try it! The plenty of other mesh bento avatars, they never give you that golden opportunity sadly.. And while this demo is really iffy on it's animations, it's a demo. Can't be having the full deal with it.
I'm going to be saving up my lindens for this avi!
Shows a lot of promise!
I initially bought this avi in-world on sale for 300L before it was released on the market but I decided to buy the demo here so I could leave a review detailing the avatar itself.
Pros:
1. You can use edit linked to remove the multi-tails and be an ordinary one-tailed fox
2. The mod textures already have fur details just in case you're (like me) not good at creating that effect
3. The AO includes a menu that allows you to control the timing between the standing animation loops (so the avi is moving from one stance to the other in a more lively manner instead of standing idle for a minute in between anims)
4. The overall design of the avi allows it to look good with either realistic or cartoonish textures
5. This avi actually works okay with a couple of the animations in the Red Remora Fennec action HUD
Cons:
1. The front legs seem to be somewhat rigged to the bento wing attachments instead of the arms, so it's unlikely you can add wings to this avi unless they're unrigged
2. The eyelids are rigged in an odd manner that causes any eye markings or markings near the eye to squish when the avatar blinks, which is VERY frustrating for modding
3. The ears are not removable even if you alpha out that section of the body texture (so the options for modding this into different species are very limited)
4. The instructions on how to set up the applier are extremely vague, in addition even if you figure out how to set up an applier, the script does not make it clickable so you have to use the HUD and type in the UUID to apply the texture
5. You have to reset the scripts inside this avi quite frequently, especially if you're modding (ears will stop twitching, eyes will close while blinking and not open back up, sometimes one ear or eye moves while the other doesn't, the jaw may freeze open, etc.)
Overall this is worth the money but there are a few things that need to be fixed. Still, I love this avi and l greatly look forward to updates! :)
