Great tutorial and well written, i know the basics of scripting but always struggled with floats, and variables this helped me to understand better i like how its short information well written with examples the code is written nice too clean not messy, its worth a look for anyone thinking about scripting thank you Vivix for doing this
It's pretty fun and it isn't too hard to understand
I haven't had the chance to read much but from what I've read, I've really enjoyed everything this has to offer, so I'd really recommend getting this and the other parts

I can only agree with Kaosu, really great stuff by one of the really proficient scripters on SL. The other volumes are well worth a purchase too!
If you are interested in breaking into scripting/lsl, please get this.
By far, to date, one of the best in-game tutorials for getting started in scripting/lsl you can get.
Starts you off with the basics of what you need to know and works you up slowly and gently.
If you have, like many others, tried to read through some of the online tutorials and still can't seem to grasp it, this is your way to go for sure!
Don't be afraid, your future in lsl is calling.
