MayaStar is a plugin rigging system for Autodesk Maya. It works with Maya 8.0 through 2020. Much of MayaStar will work with Maya LT but there are limitations since Maya LT is a limited version of Maya. Feel free to contact me first if you are using Maya LT.

5. Automatic Mesh Resizing: You can now use MayaStar to resize your mesh clothes to the 5 Standard Sizes for regular rigged mesh clothes or to any custom shape using the Appearance Sliders.

8. Change to any Custom Bind Pose you want without having to "Detach Skin" of your mesh.

Rigging was so frustrating to me, but not anymore!
Totally recommended if you want to make nice rigs quick. Always keep in mind there is no magic button to make a perfect rig, but this is really helpful to start with! You don't need to be the master of Maya to use it, it's super easy.

Impossible don't have this plugin if you create mesh clothing
It's really GREAT! Never seen something like this. I know Blender, I learnt how to fit and rig in Blender and I spent really much time and fatigue. With this plugin you can fit, rig and weight in some minutes. Highly recommended. Also because Cathy is great to explain and solve problems.

Fitted mesh is tricky and very intimidating at first. This product absolutely helped me accomplish my goals to learning and achieving quality rigging.
