MESH DOOR SCRIPT (easy to use)

These scripts can be used in mesh doors or mesh windows indistinctly. The instructions are written for doors, but exactly the same process applies to windows. So if you want to use them with mesh windows instead of mesh doors, just replace the word "door" with "window" in your mind as you read :)

The scripts can also be used with sculpted doors and windows instead of mesh doors and windows.

VERY IMPORTANT: TRY THE DEMO VERSION BEFORE PURCHASING THIS PRODUCT! (There's a link to the Demo on the right, and also on the Related Items at the bottom of the page.) There will be no refunds if you purchase the complete version of the scripts and they do not suit your needs, as you are assumed to have tried the demo version first.

The scripts only work for single-prim mesh doors or sculpt doors, if they are to be linked. For unlinked doors, they can be multi-prim, as long as the door is the root prim. To be sure, try the demo on a copy.

There are instructions included. Please read them to know which of the included scripts suits your needs.

WHAT IT DOES

So you have built a wonderful mesh door, but you notice with horror that most door scripts in SL only rotate the door over its center! That's where this script will help you.

- It will rotate over the side of your door, instead of over the center. For that to work, you have to select the correct script; look at the included instructions.
- Open and close on touch. (Duh!)
- It includes built-in sounds for open/close.
- It auto-closes the door after 30 seconds.
- You can use it for the builds you sell (houses, garages, whatever) or for your own private use (it's cheap, after all!)

WHAT IT DOES NOT DO

It does not handle security (restrict who can open the door), double doors, size-changing or sliding doors. If you want a script capable of all these things, please check the UniDoor™ system (Setup + Runtime) in Related Items below.

It doesn't support open-on-collision or open-on-sensor either. If you need that, you can contact Sei Lisa for a custom version.

LICENSE INFORMATION

This script can only be redistributed with either NO COPY or NO TRANSFER permissions. It can't be redistributed as a standalone script; it can only be redistributed as part of a build. The script won't run without setting these perms first in your inventory.

The scripts you purchase from Sei Lisa / SeiS are licensed, not sold. With your purchase, you acquire a limited, non-exclusive license that allows you to use these scripts in your creations. You are NOT allowed to redistribute any of the scripts by themselves, or with permissions other than those specified above. Doing so constitutes a violation of international copyright laws.
