nice.. but vane rotation is wrong
I like this windmill but I should have read the reviews. The vane is part of one unit with the fan meaning it rotates on the same access, which just ends up looking silly. The tower is good, though. I'm keeping that part and just building another fan/vane section to put atop it.
Cute! But...
I love Soy and their products and this Windmill is beautiful. The only thing I think should be fixed on it is the tail rotates with the fan when you turn it on. On this type of windmill, only the fan blades should spin, not the tail too. While the windmill is mod, (thank you!) the fan and tail itself is one mesh piece, so there's really no work around to remedy this by the end user. Maybe one day Soy can fix this. =) But other than that little flaw, it's a great addition to a farm setting.
