This textures pack was an experimental project to see how far the Second Life graphics engine could be taken towards the recreation of something that looks more like a mirror, using the new materials system and some clever texturing.

3 FULL PERM TEXTURES (NOT SEAMLESS):
✔ 1 plain mirror texture
✔ 1 foggy mirror texture with running water droplets
✔ 1 foggy mirror texture with a fun "I LOVE YOU" message written on it
OPTIONAL EXTRAS:
✔ 3 specular texture maps
This mirror textures pack gives you everything you need to create the best possible simulated mirrors for your build (at the current state of the Second Life graphics engine).
Use the new "Advanced Lighting Model" viewer feature to create a more realistic effect. To show these textures off to their best remember to add some nearby prim light sources!
All textures are 1024px resolution.
OPTIONAL: ADVANCED 3D LIGHTING MODEL

Additionally, the textures in this pack are compatible with the new "Advanced Lighting Model" feature in Second Life viewers. This allows for the creation of more realistic texture surfaces that respond like materials to lighting!
To see this texture at its best potential you'll need a recent viewer and you will need to enable the "advanced lighting model" under your preferences.
This option is enabled automatically for avatars with their graphics set to "High" or "Ultra". Avatars who do not enable this will see the standard textures only.

It was a frame, now its a mirror
DIY mirror out of anything. Don't know what folks are complaining about, it's not like you can make mirror looks too much better in SL than this unless you start messing with projectors and stuff.
Completely dissapointed
The texture looks nothing like the one pictured, you can't barely see the writing. There's only the diffuse texture, no specular, so I don't know why it goes on about advanced lightig when you can't take advantage of it with this pack. I am just really unhappy with it.

Really well done
These are extremely well done and the specular map for the regular mirror works really well on all sorts of items that need a nice smooth shine to them, like magazine pages, etc.. Excellent deal for a product that can be used multiple ways.
