TECHNICAL

The skis come with an entirely new skiing AO-engine and include 15 animations and 4 different designs.
The AO-engine reacts on ground slopes and adds force to your Avatar while you are gliding.
If SL-Lags and you are racing fast, you might be faster than SL can follow.
If you are hurt, fly away, sit somewhere or teleport to a hospital.

USING THEM

Wear them (including the HUD).
The switch button turns the skis on or off if you want to use special animations or gestures.

They can:
- Fwd - walk
- Release Fwd - break and glide a little until you stop
- Back - break hard and go back
- CTRL + R - switch to run-mode
- Page up - jump / fly

For faster downhill gliding, it is a good idea to switch to run.

Click the Menu-Icon on the HUD to call the ski menu.
There you can select your skiing SETUP (wax):

- Discover: Is best for sightseeing in a beautiful winter landscape. Downhill force is low, friction is high, and sensibility for slopes is low.
- Tour: A little faster on downhill speed and has more sensibility.
- Allround: Good for slalom and for discovering the speed of downhill gliding.
- Fast: Already becomes critical, has a strong downhill force
- Race: Downhill force is very strong, friction is almost zero, and it has a high sensibility for slopes. This way, you can race almost everywhere and be really fast . Just be careful and don't brake your legs!
- Force: With the 3 force buttons, you can adjust a specified setup for racing and breaking course-records.

First select a base setup, with the fitting friction and sensibility for slopes, then increase the force.

With a little practice you will become a very good skier and have a lot of wintertime fun.

Customize:

Skis, boots and poles are copy mod
It is best to make a copy before you start modifying.
You can change length and width.
Rezz them on the ground to drag another texture on them
Recolor the boots as you like
Or wear your own creations, the only thing you really need for skiing is the HUD.
