“THE AURORA DECKS” was designed with special attention paid to details, both in its appearance and as regards its operation. To manufacture it, “sculpties” and “prims” have used. The scripts, which were custom-made by ROHACAN HIRONS, are efficient, clear and don’t use too much memory. Very easy to use, “THE AURORA DECKS have a lot of surprises in store for you, such as:

“On” and “off” turntables, choice of vinyl record, version can be carried or placed on the ground, high-resolution textures, “permission” adjustment, animations included, synchronized and random flashing buttons, motorized crossfader, display / masking of the poseball…Right from the very first time you try it, the taste for other traditional DF sets will seem quite bland!

I – HOW TO USE (MODEL WITH AND WITHOUT SUPPORT)

1. Once you’ve taken your equipment out of its package, drag from your inventory the version which you have chosen onto a building site. Make sure that this site authorizes the use of scripts. The turntable appears and is ready to use.

2. To start or stop the turntables, you can click on the turntable of your choice and a menu appears in which you can choose “turn on”, or you can click on the flashing “start” “stop” round button.

Note: There are three flashing “start” “stop” buttons. The two buttons located next to your turntables trigger only the corresponding turntable. The third one located on the “mixette” in the center controls both turntables at the same time.

3. You are now ready to take off! A right-click on the poseball brings you into position for mixing.
The poseball contains two animations which alternate steadily. You may want to use your own DJ animation system. To do that, a simple click on the poseball and it disappears! (nonetheless, the poseball will leave behind a slight “halo” so that you can visualize it and make it reappear if you want to).

4. You are not going to mix without any records! A simple click on the turntable of your choice and a menu appears proposing a choice of several vinyl records. The default setting is 5 vinyl records in your set. (see the options below for more record choices) Select the record you want and it loads on your turntable instantaneously!

5. You have found the configuration which suits you and you don’t want everybody in the club coming and changing your settings. Click anywhere on “THE AURORA DECKS” and a menu will ask you who has the right to use your equipment. Choose between “owner” (you only), “group” (only members of the group), or “everyone” (everybody can adjust the settings).

II – HOW TO USE (PORTABLE MODEL)

The portable model will create a sensation during your parties, or to promote your party. A right-click in your inventory and choose “carry” and you will have the complete set on a harness. This may also be of use when a site does not have enough prims available to place the turntable on a site.

The portable version works exactly like the other two versions, except for the following differences:

The harness includes a WIDE SCREEN which you can use to promote your events. To do that, there is nothing easier – just prepare the image of your choice (photograph / texture), and upload it into your inventory. Now, position the “ANAM – Image Loader” object on the ground which came with your equipment. Right-click to access the content of “ANAM - Image Loader” and drag your images into it!

Note: You can choose to display one or more images. If you decide to post several images on your screen, they will rotate automatically every ten seconds.
