Laser Gatling Turret RS 601-NS otherwise known as 'The Perforator'
Part of the GP range but equally suitable for stand alone independent operators too.
Beloved by Forward Operating forces everywhere, this weapon system offers undeniable superiority in the form of a turret weapon assuring piece of mind not to mention a secure perimeter.
Need something to keep your base secure when you're not around?
Need devastating firepower to protect your assets?
Have both with the Gatling turret. Leave it in auto mode, or jump on yourself and take manual control to deal with problems in that ... personal way.
Note: This is NOT CCS enhanced and probably NOT legal to use as a CCS weapon, as it has no ammunition capacity limit.

Firstly rezz the object called 'Gatling Turret Stand'
Now move the object to where you want it and click it, select 'Initiate' from the dialog menu to rezz the gun portion.
The weapon will run through a brief self diagnostic sequence and will then be in test mode ready for use.
*** NOTE *** IF YOU MOVE THE TURRET TO A NEW POSITION YOU MUST ALSO PRESS INITIATE AGAIN TO RESET THE WEAPON TO ITS NEW POSITION
Once you've set the turret out where you want it, you have some options when you click on the control panel: (First click 'Inactive' to exit test mode)
Help - This sends you the help notecard
Settings - This allows you to change the settings for the turret. Remember to set the turret Inactive before changing any settings to ensure they save correctly.
Stat - Short for Status Check, this will show you in text what the current settings are
Test - This is a little demo mode that runs the initialisation sequence and then goes into passive scan mode. It will seek & track avatars but will not fire on them.
Sentry - This mode sets the turret to automatic mode
Manual - This mode sets the turret to manned mode
--
Settings Menu:
Access - This allows the owner to set out who can work the turret, Owner only, Group, or All
Auto -off - This sets when the turret shutdown time in Sentry mode occurs. 5, 10, 30, 60 mins or Never off
Safe - This sets who has immunity from being targeted. Owner only, Group or None
Ammo - This allows the owner to choose the appropriate bullet, will toggle through Kinetic, LD Training, LD Full
Cone - Determines the seek cone for sentry mode. Wide (180 degree) or Narrow (90 degree scan)
Range - Determines how far out the turret will search for targets. Short (20m) or Long (100m)
--
Sentry mode:
When sentry mode is activated, it will take into account any setting as listed above
The weapon will state 'Scanning' and the red tracking light on the barrel will flash to warn that it is now in seek mode
When a target is acquired, the turret barrel will turn to the target av, and begin to fire, the words 'Tracking <av name>' will also show.
Note:- The sentry mode will only cover at most a semi circle in front of the weapon, if you need 360 degree coverage, you would have to rezz more than one turret and place them accordingly.
If you need to deactivate the weapon whilst its in sentry mode, just click the control panel and then press 'Inactive' This will return the turret to offline status.
You can also use the timed function (auto-off) to great effect in this mode if you just need a temporary perimeter guard
--
Manual mode:
When the Manual mode is selected a dialog will appear asking you for permission to:
Act on your control inputs
Track your camera
This is to allow you to control the turret and you will need to agree to work it.
When you have manual control of the turret, the words : 'Controlled by <av name> will appear and no one else will be able to use the weapon while you are using it. Note any safeties will be disengaged in this mode. I.E owner or group safe will not apply.
Note:- This mode has a full 360 degree range of movement, if you go further away than 10m or leave the sim the weapon will return to an offline status.
Again, once you have finished with the weapon, click the control panel and select 'Inactive'

IT's more or less for show, it doesn't shoot on it's own and it doesn't have the rate of fire one would expect... and that lasr beem doesn't travel out from it just a frew inches
