This is a point to point, easy to use region-wide teleporter.
Rez 2 pads where you like on the same sim (even high on the sky), and it's done!
No notecard required.
If you want to move the pads to a different position, just do that: the 2 pads communicate their respective positions to each other and update their teleport coordinates automatically,
The pads are 1 prim each and are copy+mod (the script is copy only)
Of course you must have the permission to run scripts where you rez the pads.

2012-08-26, version 1.1.0: added a lag protection system. If you experienced some issues while teleporting, try this version out.
- sim-wide teleporter, anywhere, any height
- no notecard
- teleport coordinates updated automatically when the pads are moved
- 1 prim per pad
Not great
This teleporter is super easy to setup, I'll give it that. And when it wants to work well, it does. But when it doesn't, it send you flying and unless you're landing in an enclosed room and don't mind bouncing off the walls there's no telling where you'll end up. At least I wasn't out anything and the 0L price is the only reason I didn't rate this lower.

more than expected
with a lot of free items there is always something you have to deal with work around or tweak.
this is a very simple device that has worked every time every where I have set one up.
just remember no more than 2, 1 origin and 1 destination. these work reverse.
Not bad for being free
Usually when a product is free, you know not to expect a whole lot. Now when I first rezzed both pads, linking one from my home to my skybox, it worked wonders on the trip from the house to the box. Now, on my return trip, I wound up in the air above my home and fell off the pad into the house below. Confused, I rezzed the pad elsewhere in the home (on the first floor instead this time) and it seemed to work at first since I teleported back inside on the first floor but then the pad disappeared and I'm sure if I check, it's back in the sky. So there MAY be a bug here, but still. Not too shabby at all for being free!
