98 high quality sound clips are played at random intervals and at a random volume, with different sounds playing at different times, while a background sound loop ensure there are no silent moments. Unlike competing products that only know about day and night, this rock distinguishes dawn, day, dusk and night to play sounds appropriate to those times.
Hear birds singing, owls hoot and a rooster crows to wake you up at dawn! The sound clips feature a selection of bats, bald eagles, blackbirds, blue jays, bob white quails, common teals, crows, flycatchers, hawks, meadowlarks, nightingales, owls, robins, roosters, skylarks, jays, woodpeckers, wrentits, frogs, insects, and wolves.

In the delivery folder you will find:
- A 3 prim Sound Rock containing the control script
- A 1 prim Sound Controller containing the control script
- A 1 prim Sound Tuner you can use to fine-tune the soundscape
The control script enables you to adjust the volume of the triggered and looped sounds for all your sound rocks in a sim, start and stop the sounds of all sound rocks in a sim and locate your active sound rocks in case you have no estate rights.
April 2021 Update: Script errors after recent SL updates have been fixed and scripts have been optimised to reduce memory use by ~60% and CPU use by ~50%, reducing sim lag even further. This update also adds the Sound Tuner. New sounds have been added to the Sound Rock for this release.
