BIOMECHANOID the arms

So I bought this due to the good reviews it suppose it has. WRONG.
This item is totally awful, arms are way too skinny unless you have a skinny avatar, both the alpha it brings are badly made, you can see transparency between your body and the arms. They don't have a demon either. "I don't recommend anyone buying this item unless you wanna throw your lindens to the trash".

Through the years, I've had a lot of hit and misses when it comes to Cyber/Futuristic gear, I'm the kind of guy who gets an image in his mind of what a right cyber look would be like and will follow through until that image is achieved. Let me tell you right here and now: You want these arms.

As a reviewer said earlier, you can mod these arms to an extent, to me, it worked with edit linked parts, I was able to re tint the veins and got an amazing look. I'm a guy who likes to combine and the arms form part of my current look, I am so satisfied with these, I will recommend them to anyone who looks for cyber arms. I repeat: You want these arms.

Upon first look, these arms can be seen and figured to have little more to offer than just some addition to someone's avatar. But that little statement can not be brought up when speaking of these arms. Textures and glows work fluidly and flawlessly with every movement of one's body, no matter size. Rigging can't be brought down any simpler said than superb. Now that being said there are some minor "tweeks" to be said about these arms. First off is the sizing, that no matter how many times it is tried to be said "1 size fits all" is never true, yes it comes with 3 size options but for those with the more "muscular" body will have some issues as well as outfiting if you're avatar has no shirt and one's modding skills aren't so good to make the shoulders work better for them. Secondly the glow of the arms tendons are certainly a wonderful touch though the ability to be able to cycle and change through some to say from a soft blue to an angered red, and maybe even a shocking yellow. And finally the last of all to be said is the shoulder muscles. It is understandable to want to leave space and room for those who have an AO that has their arms flailing all over the place, but to simply just cut the shoulder in half in the middle is something that is hard to be seen much less trying to make seen believable. All of these said this is still an amazing product and for the price, you couldn't ask for a better maker of cyber products. With all of this said, all that's left to say is Thank you Biomech, for delivering to the masses a better quality product than any other producer could hope to make.

With a bit of modding I was able to hide the fit, though it was close to seamless with all the choices. The fact that these arms could work with hundreds if not thousands of personalised user settings it the mark of a great artist and craftsman. I am anxiously awaiting more implants and prosthetics

the arms are totally epic, they are mod. I dropped a plasma texture and an scrolling texture animation script into the glowing part to create a cool pulsing look, if you want to change the color of them you need to right click edit the object in your inventory. then select edit face and click on the glowing part. The only problem I had with this is that the alpha layer doesn't get rid of the arms completely. I had to mix and match different alpha layers to get the desired affect. which is why I only gave it 4 stars. It would have gotten 5 if not for the alpha layer.

These are beautiful. Worth the price to me. I have tried other prosthesis before, but these are actually easy to fit and they look great. The choice of alpha layers, a plus. Wish they had color change for the effects though. That would really finish them off.
