If you are using the official Second Life Viewer or the latest Firestorm (or other 3rd party viewers) then you CAN see PBR - use the V3[PBR] set.
If you use an old viewer and don't want to update, then you CANNOT see PBR - use the V2[LEGACY] set.

I am very familiar with using Skye products in my landscaping and the difficulties in getting things to line up, but it's usually not that big of a problem as nature isn't perfect and you can blend the seams in using rocks and foliage. However, here it is a problem. A beach as good looking as this is not a background landscape. It's going to the fore: people are going to want to play on this great looking beach. It is NOT "seamless in all but the most extreme lighting conditions", the seams ARE going to be visible in ALL lighting conditions and when you overlap it enough to hide the seams, the wave patterns make it very obvious where the seams are. It's a good product but it still needs more time spent perfecting it, as the visible seam lines make this very frustrating to use even for experienced builders.
Brain-shattering instructions . . .
I bought the Sandy beach building set and two other beach/sand related items from Studio Skye. I tried for a week or 2 to create a credible beach/dune area with those. I am sorry to say the instructions how to handle the items are far to cryptic to me. Even the Youtube item was, due to the very small menus. I ended up deleting every Studio skye item in my inventory. Very disappointed.
is this supposed to be just decorative?
Because up close its nothing but seams. Even the prefabs it comes with is full of seams. No way to connect them without going crazy because there are seams everywhere. Seams.
