NOTE: The tail derives a lot of its looks from its normal maps, so people are able to use it to create things that aren't necessarily only crocodile tails. As such it doesn't look as good without advanced lighting, see side pictures
Because I noticed an alarming lack of modder oriented reptilian/'niche' bento tails in SL
This tail was made with modders in mind, and thus includes a white AO texture, UVs and normals. It does include a box with a couple colored textures but it is meant as a base for people to build their own mods.
This tail has been made with use with other animators. It includes an animator with 2 basic animations (stand and sit) but it is intended for use until a better animator is acquired. Murder of Raven's demon and dragon tail animators work best, however the low hung animations may clip the ground if you use the larger sizes.
DO NOT USE WITH AN ANIMATOR WITH DEFORMERS. Tail deformers will screw up the tail.

Beautifully sculpted, great size and LOD options, would love too see some back spikes that run up the spine for it, and possibly a head or a rigged long neck for public use (one that's more like the kzk raptor head.

i used this to create an avatar mod for a commissioner. this made it look extremely well and really made it complete!! it works very well with MOR demon tail animations!! i plan to use this for a possible personal avatar x) i recommend it 100%. easy to texture, and it has so many multiple sizes which is extremely handy
Can't express how happy I am.
Lots of other reptiles out there get love but crocs always seem on the back burner. Was an absolute treat to get shown this. We modded it up and the mapping is amazingly easy to work with. The abundance of sizes help it suit any size avatar, and the chunky options are the icing on the cake. The idle sway and the way it curls when you sit are all I could really ask for.

And thank the Lindens, Firefly delivered! The tail is perfect, there's some nice sizes included and it worked exactly as it says on the tin. If you're just needing the tail and not have any animators, there's a super basic one included, but if you're like me and have a ton of tails and animators already, this will be a great addition regardless!
I actually set it to animesh and used the Animesh script out there from Anivius Kreations to fit it to my feral av! Once again, thanks so much for this! Hope to see it used for a good few things!
