CATWA HEAD Freya

My first mesh head on my main account years ago was Catwa Candy and I loved it! When I upgraded to bento I went for the Catya head and loved it! Money has been tight so I've not been able to afford a Catwa head for my alt so this was such a wonderful surprise and much appreciated gift.

The head is beautiful. Like any other bento head it takes time and patience to edit it how I wanted it, but I love it! Thank you so much for such a beautiful head. Catwa has always been my favorite store for mesh heads. They have always had patient and kind feedback when I had questions during the time I switched to bento the first time. I really don't understand all the negative reviews and comments.

Catwa, thanks for the gift - but the quality seems very inferior to other paid heads. Of course if we get a gift we cannot choose. So thank you.

The head (like pretty much all of Catwa heads) is pretty stiff and what I mean by that is when using sliders you're limited on customization without breaking the mesh and or having an ugly dome that you have to hide with hair. The outer eye corner doesn't work in the way it should, meaning your outer eye will NOT move up and down, again limiting you. Now to jaw shape, again you're limited, you can kick a soft jaw right out the door on this one. Lower cheeks the same, you can't really use the sliders much here without making your face look odd. You will however be doing a lot of tweaking bouncing back and forth between head stretch and egg head. Best to keep your head shape slider between 50 and 59 only if you don't wanna rely so much on hair that covers the side of your face. Eye depth has to be on 50 or lower nothing higher if you plan on using the eyes, if you've mesh eyes from some where else feel free to pull those babies out. I am happy to see the lips not being so erm puckered so I do like the lips. This nose is by far Catwas best nose, so I am quite pleased with that area. Also I get this head was meant to be unisex, however it doesn't really work well with being a male unless you're a dainty fella then by all means go on and get your pretty on. This head is def for a more mature female as you can't get the softness that comes with youth from it. I'm going to use the word "chiseled" here when it comes to it's features. Again this could simply be because it's meant to be a unisex head. All in all it's a gift, the creator put work in it, jumped on the #stayhom trend that I've been seeing a lot of which is decent of them given the stress some people may be under a simple gift even in a virtual world can put a smile on someones face. Maybe some have lost their jobs and can't afford a head, and the fact that Catwa put in on MP not forcing people to pay for a group tag to get it was generous. And like EVERY SINGLE head on Second Life none will be perfect.

This free head looks so much better than the head on my previous all-in-one mesh avatar.
