Project:
This simple device anchors the user in place, preventing them from being moved by almost any conventional means when not of their own free will.
Invaluable in combat situations, self defense, or as a general measure of convenience. Device is to be distributed freely to the populace as a gesture of generosity on our behalf. Should keep their eyes off the other projects.

To use the movelock, simply wear it. It should attach to your HUD. You can attach it anywhere on your HUD, even moving it offscreen if you just want to leave it on without toggling.
Once attached, you can engage or disengage the movelock by clicking the HUD object. "Locked" means it is on and protecting you, "Unlocked" means you're no longer protected from being pushed, but is useful in the rare cases that having the movelock active could cause problems.
While engaged, any time you come to a complete stop, the movelock will kick in within a second. Any time you use your controls or fly up/fly down buttons, the movelock will disengage temporarily until you come to a complete stop again. Thus, floating in mid air and disabling fly will leave you hanging in space. Pressing crouch (or any other movement key) will let you resume falling.
Important: Disable the movelock when you intend to sit on something, ride a vehicle, or use anything that would move you without you actually using your normal walking controls. Otherwise, strange effects may occur, including snapping back into the place you were standing before sitting.

Problem:
The movelock isn't working, I'm still being pushed around!
1) Is the movelock enabled? If it says "Unlocked," click it again so it switches to "Locked."
2) Did you attach the device while in a no-script area or without the proper groups? Try moving to a script area or changing your group, then reattaching the device.
3) Were you walking or falling when pushed? The movelock has to be disabled while moving to ensure you still move naturally while it runs. Try pressing spacebar to slow yourself down, then stand still for up to a second. This should engage the movelock.

Contact about anything relating to this movelock.
As this is a free object, support may not be given beyond basic help.
- Locks user in place against nearly all forms of bumping and harassment!
- Works in nearly any environment, even no-script areas (if started elsewhere)!
- Intelligently anchors you in place only when you stand still.
Generally good
A good free tool especially for those who want to trim down on their script usage (many people can and perhaps should replace their multi-tool HUDs with simple ones). There is one problem with this one, though. If you are locked while sitting on some form of transport, then when you stand/get up you may be thrown for a distance.
Eat this!
i totally agree with Laoise Rumsford here.
i try it and right away i went up here.
It does what it says!
great product!
5 locks from me ^^
Stop touching meeee!
I hate being touched in RL, and so the same feeling was transferred into Second Life. People bumping into me drove me *insane* -- and then I found this product.. Completely by accident, if I may add. Now I can idle with confidence that if I am bumped into, or shot, that I will snap right back where I was standing -- as if nothing happened.
Thank you for offering this product AND making it free to those who are poor. :)
5 stars.
