== Chainable Cuff 2.0 == ** Restrained Life Enabled **

The Chainable Cuff 2.0 combines into one product the features of two of Dominatech's most popular products: the original "Chainable Cuff", and the "D/s Handcuffs", which were a pair of handcuffs where one cuff was worn by the master and the other by the sub, chaining them together, with the sub being dragged wherever the master pulled them. It also adds Restrained Life support, preventing the wearer from detaching the cuff while chained, or from teleporting (unless they're chained to a person and that person sends them a TP), or sitting on or even touching objects more than 1.5m away. This version also adds some new features, detailed below.

The Chainable Cuff 2.0, like the original, allows you to chain the wearer to a leash post. New in version 2.0, it now allows you to chain them to ANY object, so you no longer need an Amethyst-compatible leash post, although you can continue to use one, of course, since any object is now supported. Once chained, they cannot release themselves (assuming they are using the Restrained Life viewer). Anyone else can release them from the menu, or set a timer to release them after a specified time interval.

With version 2, you can now also chain the wearer to yourself or another avatar. Before chaining them to yourself, get a "Master Cuff" from the menu. It looks just like the chainable cuff, so when worn, it looks like two people handcuffed together. Of course, the person wearing the master cuff is free to move about wherever they like, the sub is dragged along, and cannot stray beyond the specified length of the chain. And of course, just like when chained to an object, the wearer cannot release themselves, teleport away, etc.

New with version 2, the master cuff is now full-perms, so no worries about losing half the set of handcuffs -- you can always get a new master cuff from the sub cuff. And as both have modify perms, you can adjust for wrist size. I deliberately default to a fairly large size, ladies will most likely want to shrink it down a bit.

From the menu you get by clicking on the sub cuff, in addition to chaining the sub to yourself, another avatar, or an object, you can also set the length of the chain (from 1 to 12 meters), and set the wait time for returns. A word about that: if the sub is chained to you and you teleport, log out without releasing them, or get disconnected, they will have to wait for a certain period of time for your return before being released. This allows you to teleport somewhere and then send them a TP without them getting away, or allows you to be disconnected and relog without losing them. During that time, they remain at your previous position, unable to move away from it by more than the specified chain length. You can set how long they must wait for your return (or for you to send them a TP), anywhere from 30 seconds to 90 minutes.

This is not to be confused with the release timer, which releases them after a given amount of time regardless of whether you're around or not. The release timer can be set to anything from 1 minute to until doomsday (assuming you hit "+4 hours" on the timer menu enough times). The release timer is set from the "Timer…" menu option, which, along with the "Release" option, only appears on the menu while the wearer is chained. Note that time spent offline does not count towards the release timer.

Certain menu options never appear on the menu presented to the wearer of the cuff, including options to chain to yourself, another avatar, or, of course, the release options. You can set the chain length and wait time while not chained, but once chained, you cannot bring the menu up at all.
