SETTING UP YOUR DANCE SPHERE
To set up the dance sphere is simple, simply drop the Dance Sphere on the ground in front of your avatar and drag your animations into the dance sphere. It will configure itself when you add dances.
IMPORTANT: When adding dances, do not try to do it while the Dance Sphere is attached to your avatar. You will need to drop it on the ground in front of your Avatar to add dances. Please also make sure all the dances are loaded and visible in the Dance Sphere before you take it back into your inventory. If you do not you may find your dances are lost due to an SL inventory Bug.
When unattached the dance sphere will become visible, upon attaching to your avatar it will become invisible. When invisible it can still be touched by yourself or other people to start/stop dancing. Should you wish to make the sphere invisible/visible to over this, use the commands '/99show' and '/99hide'
New to version 2.1 you can add a length for each dance to play. To do this add the time to the end of the dance animation name leaving a space between the prior text. If this number is found the default interval time for dances will be overridden.
USING THE DANCE SPHERE
You can use a variety of chat commands to control the Dance Sphere while you are wearing it. These are listed at the bottom of this notecard. You will also find a HUD included that you can attach that will give you quick easy access to the most important controls via your screen. Other users that dance can get a version of this HUD when they start dancing so they too can have easier control.
To start dancing either touch the Dance Sphere or say /99dance in chat or click on the dance button on your HUD.
To stop dancing either touch the Dance Sphere again or say /99stop in chat or touch the stop button on your HUD.
You can invite up to 19 other dancers to dance with you. You can do this using the /99invite command or by having them click on your Dance Sphere. There are a variety of other commands available to show who is dancing and remove dancers. Please see the list below.
AUTO AND MANUAL MODE
The dance sphere can operate in two modes for each dancer. These can be set via the chat commands or using the HUD. Auto mode will play through all the dances in the Dance Sphere automatically. Manual mode will play a single dance and allow each dancer to select the dances they wish to perform. Each dancer can also choose to dance with the group or randomly out of sync.
