An easy to setup and use, fully configurable tip jar.
Here are the features packed in the Cool Tip Jar:
- Three models provided (one standard prims based model and two sculpties based models).
- The hovering text can be fully configured (color and format, including with substitutions for recipient name, last donor name, last tip amount and total tips amount).
- The thanks message can be fully configured: both the format with substitutions (see above), and the way it is emitted (either via IM, whisper, "say" or shout).
- Sounds support (a random sound can be played when a tip is received, and the sounds can be changed by you).
- Particles effect: the tip jar glows when waiting for assignment or tips, and nice hearts particles are shoot out and converge towards the donor when a tip is received (the higher the tip, the more hearts).
- Four assignment modes: the tip jar can be assigned to yourself, to a person in a configurable access list, to a person with the same active group as the tip jar, or to anyone. Once assigned to an authorized person, the tips are automatically transferred to them.
- Configurable split revenue between yourself and the assignee of the tip jar.
- Advanced monitoring: you can optionally monitor the assignee so that when they go away or log off (sensor monitoring) and/or become unavailable (away, busy and log off monitoring) and/or become inactive (chat and log off monitoring), the tip jar is automatically unassigned.
- Fully configurable and customizable (mod-ok item with modular scripts design). The heart particles may also easily be replaced by another texture of yours. You can even replace some scripts with yours (the API to make your scripts cooperate with the Cool Tip Jar is simple and documented).
- Low prim count (2 or 3 prims for the 3 provided models) and ultra low lag (highly optimized code).
- Copy-ok, meaning you can use as many tip jars as you wish.
- Free updates and cheap upgrades. Provision has been made so that updating or upgrading is as easy as rezzing a Cool Tip Jar in our updates and upgrades center.
Finally, at only L$250, the Cool Tip Jar is one of the very cheapest tip jar in SL while providing an unusual set of really cool and useful features.
