The Mermaid Animation Set was developed to address the question of what happens when a mermaid tries to move around on land. Most Mermaid animation sets simply have the mermaid swim in the air but that ignores the awkward poetry of a graceful mermaid flopping about on dry land. While this animation set does include all the appropriate swimming and flying animations, all of the walking, standing, and running animations keep the mermaid firmly affected by gravity and crawling on the ground.
To use these animations, you will an animation overrider. A simple animation overrider using the Easy Animation Override HUD is provided as a free bonus with this animation set but you can use these animations with a more complex animation overrider if you wish.

I didn't think an override like this existed and was terrified I'd have to make my own (terrible) AO.
Now, not all the animations I like (like stand4) and you have to delete them from the ao itself evidently, but thank you! I've been wanting something like this forever!
