This new D-Arrow VI is a sweet flying and looking plane. It sounds great, crosses sim borders with ease, and flies like an Arrow should. The details are as usual, excellent, with working controls and instrumentation. Fly it in mouselook for a real life experience!
Just What I Wanted
Ever since I got the Grand Caravan, I've been saying I want a plane that seats 4, can do STOL and amphibious operation. Happily, this is just what Dani was working on next. This plane has good features and options, has the flight model and control interactivity we've come to expect from Dani aircraft. The sun visors even flip down!
This works perfectly well on my residential airstrip (~13m wingspan), has good power on climb-out and exhibits nicely controllable sink rates on approach. It has surprisingly good downward visibility for a low-wing aircraft, though tall avatars (above 6') may feel the windows restrict upward visibility excessively.
This is my new go-to for piloting in SL.
Dani strikes again ... !!!
Well, I have hundreds of flight time hours in this plane in RL, actually it was one of the planes I flew for IFR training and then I gave instruction in it, so, of course, I rushed to buy it when it got released.
What can I say, it's a great SL plane as 99.9% of Dani's production.
It looks good, It's fun to fly, great cruiser, precise and smooth, reliable in sim crossings. The functional panel is complete and clear. Even if the flaps are working the opposit way as in RL, I think Dani's has found the best compromise scripting in SL, in order to make it fly and specially land nicely. I will definitely use it to teach flying in SL as I use already his other planes.
For 2000L$, it's a bargain you don't want to miss...
Have numerous fun hours flying this great little aircraft. Good job Dani (and Bia of course lol )
Super
Great plane looks nice fly well keep up the great work Dani :)
Absolutely Outstanding!!
I have a few of these single engine small planes, I don’t know how Dani does it, but in my opinion this is by far the best I’ve flown and the build quality is outstanding! Thanx Guys!!
