The "Ez" Particle Editor creates llParticleSystem functions which easily can be copied into LSL source code.

You will have to paste the generated code into a script to use it.

I have shopped and shopped for a nice particle generator seeing prices range from low to off the charts. Then, I found this one. Placing it out on a vacant lot I began to press buttons and make notes - along with consulting the manual (received by hitting the HELP button). Adding my personal notes to the manual, I was generating particle scripts doing EXACTLY what I wanted them to do in no time. Give yourself an hour to play with the buttons and make notes and I think you are going to love this device. I cannot see what a more expensive one could do that this one does not, other than appear in a HUD so you do not have to drop 137 prims on the land. If it is a problem, I can visit a sandbox, take it up a couple thousand meters and create particle scripts till my heart is content. HOLD THE PHONE - I just searched for this creator's other offerings and found the HUD Edition also for L$0!!! 5 Stars for this marvelous and generous creation.
It is basic, but really turned out to be the tool for me. I've been reluctant to learn particle generation (it's too techie, I'm more artsy), but this gave me a foundation. And ya can't beat free. Many thanks!
Unbelievable. Yes, there are free particle script generators out there, just Google them. But this one SHOWS you what the end result will look like. It's easy - really easy - to work, and when you are done it gives you the script in chat and you just copy and paste. I can't recommend this highly enough - and I can't believe it's free either. Don't waste money buying a different one, because this is all you need. 5 stars - more if I could.
People who are particularly please with particles will proceed to predicate this particle producer plenty of pleasure to it's promoted public. Seriously folks, a great piece of work. Get it while it's free.
