Hello and thank you for checking out FATEeyes, a revolution in eye customisation for avatars of any size.
Eyes are important to our avatars, just as much as clothes, skin, hair and our shapes. With FATEeyes I wanted to create a product that would allow a user of SL to create their own custom eyes without needing knowledge of any 2D or 3D programs. I believe I have accomplished this mission!
FATEeyes are mesh eyes that have been built to mimic reality, with an iris and pupil that do not point outwards like regular SL eyes. The pupil actually dilates and contracts like a real eye too!
These eyes can be resized through the intuitive HUD to work with any avatars, even petites!
FATEeyes customiseable in 8 main areas. The iris, iris center, pupil, sclera, veins, shading, shine and effects layer.
Each part of the eye can be easily tinted through a colour wheel HUD, alongside many other features such as transparency, glow, shine and the scale of the texture.
Not only that, but there are up to 72 different texture options per eye part, so you can really customise it to a fine level.
To encourage creativity, FATEeyes provide up to 12 custom preset saves for you to save your creations and toggle through them at will. Everything from colour to size is saved in the intuitive HUD.

I bought v2 of these on 9/18/12 (paid full price).
I'm a neko who likes dark/black background eyes with lots of depth. I have been buying hybrid and dragon type eyes to get the depth and clarity I want, and I noticed these have slit pupils so I decided to give them a go after playing with the demo.
My boyfriend went "Oh I love the blue" on the default color - that sold them right there. Then I started playing with them. The default iris edge is nearly too light on the alpha to make out - but I managed to get it set so it showed, I'm happy about that. A note in the user guide to reset the alpha on it before changing it might be nice so that people know why it does not seem to change at first. Some different thicknesses and varied textures on this level would be super cool. Speaking of layers, the effects on the different layers is great - could play with them for hours. I really like how the pupils move and such, very neat.
OK I love them but I have one thing that might make them better. The ability to add an overlayer (like the Iris edge) with additional color depth to the Iris itself (speckles, paler stripes, etc) would be ideal. Yes there are under laying texture options for the muscle definition -but in RL I have green/yellow/blue hazel eyes with pale brown/copper speckles and I cannot recreate this with the current layers because of the lack of speckles. Another thing that might be nice is the ability to apply different gradients of textures like brown to green, or lavender to blue, from the pupil to the iris edge. Having features like this would make these eyes *the* only pair anyone would ever need.
Given those current limitations, these eyes are still fantastic. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for eyes without wanting to clutter their inventory. FATE eyes gives the ability to have any type of eye you could want and never repeat them if you don't want to. I'll be wearing my pair now - oh forever... *winks*

I have a vast eye collection. After buying these, I can happily say that collection will collect dust.
Seeing my avatar's pupils actually dilate for the first time is a surreal and awesome experience.
And for this price, even more remarkable of a deal.

Possibly the only pair of eyes you'll ever need.
Since I purchased these eyes, I have very rarely switched to regular eyes or even to non-scripted mesh eyes. The amount of options available is quite astonishing, whether you want a more natural look or something quite fantastical. At the very darkest range, you are somewhat more limited than in the lighter ranges, but the effect is still very nice.
The scripting of the product is top-notch and the HUD very easy to use. My only quibble would be that I've occasionally spent a little too much time making up eye colours; it can be quite addictive!
