This is a free, copyable teleporter system. Just place the items anywhere on your land, set the description tag (IMPORTANT!) and forget about it. The TPs talk to each other and create a menu for you. It doesn't get any easier!
Important: The script is COPY+TRANS, the Teleporter object is a single prim which is COPY+MOD. If you want to transfer the script, just put it into a prim of your own.
NEW in Version 2:
- allows height of more than 768 meters!
- The script is now copy & trans - feel free to redistribute it, but DON'T charge for it! However, you are allowed to include it in objects you sell, for instance a house.
Setting up
==========
- Just place a copy of this TP on your land (you can make as many copies as you like!).
- Right-Click the TP and select "Edit".
- Change the name to anything you like and change the description to match the location the TP is in, such as "Kitchen" or "Bedroom" (the menu can only display 12 characters!).
- Move to the next location where you want to place a TP and repeat those steps.
- The TPs will talk to each other and build up a list of locations (can take up to 5 minutes)
Usage
=====
- To teleport to the location shown, just right-click the TP and select "Teleport"
- To change the destination, left click the TP and select a location from the list.
Private locations
=================
- If you want certain location to be accessible only to group members, do the following:
- Set every TP you own to the group you want to have access to the secret place.
- When you set the description of the secret TP, start the name with an asterisk (*), such as in "*SecretPlace"
- Now only avatars who have the same group active as the one the TP is in can see the secret location and TP there
Adding your own special effects
===============================
The design of the TP is very simple and only a single prim. If you want it to be more fancy, just build your own object and move the script into it. Additionally, you can add a script that spawns particles or whatever:
- create a script that listens to linked messages and acts accordingly
- The following messages are sent:
- "TP initiated" - User has successfully started a TP (i.e. is sitting on the object)
- "TP finished" - TP is done - i.e. objkect has returned to it's starting position
- "TP aborted" - User did not have the necessary group membership and was declined to TP
- Completely free - place as many as you like
- No config necessary - just edit the description and the TPs do the rest
- 1 prim, low lag
- Expandable, or place script into your own objects!
YAY!
Don't waste time or $L on expensive teleporters that stop working after the first sim restart. This is the only teleporter you need.

Works exactly like it says. Just pop it in a prim, put what you want in the description and you are ready. Sweet and simple,nothing complicated about it.
