Feral_Dragon_Remaster:Upgrade Ticket Version 1.1

...and hello to lower complexity! Even in the ancient size, this dragon is 105k in complexity after linking and resizing the horn, scale, and fin attachments. The animations alone made me feel great about waiting for this update rather than buying the Dawn Kingdom's dragon. I do wish a more stable AO was included to hold us over until the Hekaton was smoothed out, but overall, I am very happy with this. Can't wait till it's done! No longer will anyone have reason to complain when you visit a fantasy rp sim, because you won't be lagging them out anymore!

Overall my early review of this avatar is largely positive with the knowledge that bugs will be worked out with continued updates. The animations are lively and very high quality compared to other dragon avatars, and although the controls are pretty bad on the heka I know anything I say about the new physics have already been said many times before me.
That said, I have one complaint thats not related to the controls; You can't edit your shape. At all. Not even height. This is a strange decision but probably has it's reasons, I'd imagine it has to do with the rigging so I'm not dropping a star over that, especially when we have so many size options.
Things I'd hope to see in the future would be a rigging dummy and texture applier system for mod creators, after all the kinks have been worked out at least.

As all the other reviews said, it's a beautiful update, animation wise. This avatar has always been my favorite feral avatar, and the inclusion of multiple sizes is so exciting. The main thing that stopped me from using the older version more often was how obnoxiously huge it was. The animations are super smooth, and the little details make the avatar look realistic and believable. Like the other reviews said, the movement system is fucked right now, and I agree, a regular AO system would have been nice. I imagine the HUD is due for an update as well as it currently looks like it was quickly fashioned together with three or so textures and some text scripts. It's the same mesh, which is convenient because I can use my custom texture mods from the older dragon on my new one, but it sucks in the sense that I feel like I basically just paid for the same thing again. I also agree the feet could use some work. All in all, the update feels pretty rushed and I feel the creator should've waited a bit before pushing this update out- especially at this price- but it shows a lot of promise and potential and it's nice to see one of my favorite avatars in bento. Hope to redo this review with 5 stats in the future.

I'll update this review as the avatar is improved, of course, but as of right now this isn't worth the 3700L to upgrade.

The new animations are absolutely phenomenal, don't get me wrong. Hands-down some of the best wing and flight animations I've ever seen in SL, maybe ever. Everything is fluid and the avatar truly feels alive. The wing membrane even flaps along as you run! Lots of little details that make the av stand out when moving, but that's -if- you can get it moving.

For all its beauty, the avatar is basically unusable in its current state. DC is going above and beyond by trying to produce their own physics and movement system for the av, which is an excellent concept given how many sizes are provided. However the "HEKA" system is -extremely- alpha. Pre-alpha, even. It's slow, unresponsive, and makes you feel like you're moving on ice on moment and walking through molasses the next. I understand what DC is trying to do but HEKA really needed more time in the oven before being released with this avatar. DC plans on updating the system to function better, but until that happens I can't recommend upgrading in good conscious. Certainly not for this price. [In addition, the HUD is also very slow and barebones right now.]

The model has also remained the same. It's lower in complexity, yes, but it still suffers from the same odd points as it did previously. The out-of-place, low-poly feet have remained, and the wing membrane still connects too high up on the body, giving this gorgeous dragon a bad case of "hangbutt syndrome." On top of that, the av does not respond to shape sliders are all. So those of us wanting larger or smaller wings or different proportions have to make due.

As of right now the update was simply pushed out too early, even for an alpha.

If you want a fully working avatar( avatars, actually) i recomend waiting till creator fix and finishes everything.

New animations, sizes, bento features are amazing!!!! And if you don´t mind in facing some issues related to time answer, animations, HUD, grab yours and prepare to fall in love again. It´s just adorable!
