The TBF Particle HUD v3 is a tool for generating particle scripts rapidly.
The HUD is not fitted with fancy parameter slides, dials, or color pickers. Instead, it consists of simple push buttons and relies on the user, you, to provide input in local chat. Although typing parameters in local chat may seem more laborious at first, it is actually FASTER and more PRECISE, and therefore—to my personal opinion— more user-friendly (at the cost of it having a steeper learning curve than slider and dial-based particle generators).
The most important advantage of this particle maker over modifying a template particle script is that it reduces the tedious cycle of changing parameters, saving and compiling scripts (waiting!) and evaluating the particle behavior to simply changing the parameters and looking at the result. I consider it the bare-bones Swiss army knife of particle making.

To get started, teleport to a parcel that is rez- and script-enabled and attach the TBF Particle Generator HUD.
Upon wearing the HUD, an object called 'TBF Particle Sampler' is rezzed in front of your avatar. This sampler will show the particle changes in real-time, while you change the settings using the HUD. Upon detaching the HUD, the sampler object will be deleted automatically.
The 'Compact' button on the HUD will present a compact version of the particle script code in an Instant Message window. Copy the script code in IM or chat and paste it in a script. Put the script in an object and that object will emit particles similar to the sampler. The 'Verbose' button does a similar thing as 'Compact', but in code that is more readable.

Very simple and handy generator. I really like the option of simplified version of the code. There is no option to encode already existing code particles to the generator, so you can edit it. But I do not whine anymore. And so great and useful and free! Congratulations.
