* 29 Prim construction, No need to wear parts.

* Built to SL scale but based on actual Ford/Willys proportions.
* Suitable for static display, But fully drivable.

The Willys MB and Ford GPW were manufactured simultaneously from the same basic plans from 1941 through the end of the war in 1945 . These Small four wheel drive vehicles, known as Jeeps, Are an Iconic symbol of the American war effort.
The Thor GPW Jeep captures the character and grit of the true American war hero. Built First and foremost to be a great driving machine, The scripting has been optimized to balance low lag and memory use with great handling and ease of driving.
But this Jeep doesn't skimp on detail either. At 29 prims, there is nothing extra to wear. But were some all-prim vehicles save prim count by not including basic parts, This jeep includes them, and adds finer details as well. Its simply the best looking Jeep on the grid.

Quite possibly the BEST looking Jeep in SL
full star full star full star full star full star Posted July 15, 2011 by Emillie Placebo

And that's not a lie. How does it drive? Well, about the same as most other SL vehicles do. Decent enough for sure. It looks so so amazingly good though, and the little features are so wonderful. Any gripes? Minor ones, not enough to take away from a 5 star rating, but would be great for future udpates:

1) Working lights would be fantastic.

2) Being able to steer in mouselook would be great.

3) Would be great for it to be able to take damage or be viced or something, as cool as the shattering windscreen is.

Still, this is a fantastic buy especially if you collect WW2 stuff in general like me!

I drove this around NB and some Germans asked me for a ride. I shot them. Love the jeep!

This is a great-looking model, and works as well as anything I've driven.

"So there I was, sitting in my Jeep at NCI Kuula, and these three bints asked me for a ride. Shame it's the yanks who can hand out chewing gum and nylons."

Oh, it is good for driving around too.

Exceptional

I'd never argue with a guy named Jeep Overland about a M41A. This thing is better than the the pics show. Very well detailed from the opening hood and folding windshield to the military issue tires and flathead 4 under the hood. An awesome reproduction of a true American classic. As the ad says, it is driveable and it does drive like a Jeep. If you're you're looking for speed and handling, this ain;t it, but it does work as it should. If I could give this 10 stars I would. Great product, great value.

Jeep's Jeep

Best Jeep in SL.
Seriously. Or my name isn't Jeep Overland.

I was impressed enough with it before I even drove it. Its a work of art. Most of the features work off chat commands, but obvious stuff like opening the hood or laying the windshield down works by clicking on it.
But then there's the shit that isn't in the manual. I was in a combat sim, when someone opened up a world of hurt on me. The first sign I had of shit flying my way was the glass busting out on the jeep!
