Beautiful

This home is absolutely beautiful. I need lots of rooms, as I like to set up rooms for different uses. Pool room, game tables room, etc... TP's take care of the strange getting around downstairs thing. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was the way the wood floor was applied to all the floors throughout. The board are way to big. Either it was a bad texture or just applied wrong. One board can hold 2 avatars in width. Not the way floors are supposed to be and if the maker ever fixes this and posts it for me to get an updated version, I will happily change my review to 5 stars. I did have to rez the home several ties to get the doors to align right. IF they look off, just rerezz until they are right. It took me about 4 times for them to fit the openings correctly. But in every other way, this is a very gorgeous home with lots of room for the small footprint.

There's not a single door jamb - just empt space. I rezzed and re-rezzed and still no door jambs. The floor plan is a bit awkward.

I tried to view this house in world but it was in such a heavily lagged area and it dumped me into water. I couldn't even find it so I went ahead and bought it sight unseen. I loved the idea of the bedrooms, but after seeing how cramped it was downstairs, and not even being able to use the camera without ending up inside walls and such, I decided I needed to modify it and open it up... a lot. I've been modifying since I bought it yesterday. It's put together in such a way that modifying is VERY difficult. Instead of having, say, one wall linked together as mesh/sculpt it will do, one wall.. plus 4 random sticks of something poking out oddly 10m away, making it impossible to use those walls for anything. The light in the house is nice, I enjoy it and dont have a lot of trouble moving my camera around the sunbeams- at least not enough that I've taken them out, because they do look nice. The original version of the house has an open archway to the outside.. which is odd. But they included a door to swap out if you don't like it. The upper door area is a clusterf***. The upstairs is not actually connected to the downstairs in any way. You need to go outside on the deck and back inside to get upstairs. Not a big deal with teleporters, but very odd way to set up a house. For whatever reason, almost all of the mesh stairs, floors, walls, etc... are set to phantom when you receive it, and invisible are setup to prevent walking through walls etc. I took them out, wasted prims, and set the stairs etc to not phantom. I'm sure there was a reason why it was built like that... but it makes no sense to me now. All in all, I really like the feel of the house, I just wish I had bought the 2nd version, and I would still end up modifying some things to make it right for me. I don't know if I can use it or not, I may end up scrapping it at this point. (tired of messing with it). On the upside, it does come in a nice rezzer box, so it's easy to set up, that way.
