You are looking at the HMS Bandit. High detail, low land impact and 100% mesh. Its inspired on tall ships like the HMS Bounty and the HMS Surprise, so although the model represents a late 18th century corvette, its by no means period correct and is best compared with still existing tall ships that are used for training purposes or floating museums.
Greatest length over all is 47.5m inc bowsprit, the length over deck is 30m, the greatest width is 12.7m and about 10m over deck. the main mast stands some 30m tall, so although its relatively light weight at 188PE you would need at least a properly shaped 1024m2 lot to keep it.
The HMS Bandit has full walkable physics, and below decks you will find the master stateroom, crew quarters, the mess hall and the great cabin at the stern. It has all opening hatches & doors, and you are even able to take a peak in the hold.
Most parts of the HMS Bandit are modify, inc the sailing engine, so you will be able to retexture, tweak the sailing characteristics and add your own animations and decoration. All textures and UV maps come included. You will also be able to adjust all the poses in the boat with an easy and intuitive to use menu based setup.
When you click on the HMS Bandit you will default to the helmsman pose but you can sail the boat from any pose available. In theory you can sit as many avatars on the boat as there are poses. We have tested up to eight and were still able to make problem free sim crossings.
The sailing engine is BWind 1.37 based with the square rigger modifications made by Falcon Ulrick. It behaves like a tall ship, in a way that you have to plan ahead for a tack and tight turns. If you are familiar with the BWind you will have no trouble hopping on and sailing off into the sunset, but it will take some practice to get the most out of it. the BWind hud is located just aft of the main mast and is best seen when sailing in mouselook.

Not that great
Too small for larger avatars, can't walk around below deck. The textures are generic and cartoonish. The ship functions well but not worth 2500L Make sure to try the demo, I didn't and now regret it.
Excellent Value for a great ship
The more I use this ship the more I am impressed. It is "modern" inside but mod will let you change it out if you wish. It is not a combat ship but rather a sailing ship with the features of a big sailing ship including live aboard. The operation of the craft is not hard and once the basics have been mastered you can really have a ball. For someone like me who likes the sailing bit and being able to "dabble" in some sailing realism it offers that but with the option to change wind directions to help me out of a bind when needed. That feature has made me an enthusiastic if not a purist sailor and keeps it fun. Excellent build and features for the money and would not hesitate to recommend it.

The best
I can only say wow, absolutely fun, the best sail boat I own. I can't stop using it.
Enjoying it
Quality products with this creator and great customer service also.
the 1780:ies
This is a nice small frigate of a type common in Europa at the end of the 1770:es in many configurations. The only drawback for me is that it is fitted with modern "kitchen" etc. But it is possible to put it back in time (modify) and that will make it a excellent merchantman, explorer, smuggler....or a "stealth" boarding pirate......If it was pure style it would have got 5. Good sailing and good sim crossing in Blake sea and others....and poses so one can sit in different places instead of that the ship will be deleted the next second you "stand". Good work !
