ID Lanyard

So I don't know what that one guy was talking about with it being "no-mod." The item says that next to it, but it actually is modifiable :)

I could mod as well as resize it. I could also resize each of the pieces separately. It ended up fitting my avatar perfectly and it doesn't need to be mesh to look good. It actually looks great as-is.

In addition I also modded all the textures and colors so now it matches my school uniform. If you're looking for a good base texture for the lanyard part, go into your inventory and search for the word "linen." That's from the Linden Library and it worked great. Just need to play around with the horizontal and vertical scales a bit and also make sure the texture is set to "Default" rather than "Planar."

I plan to make copies and mod a few of them with some cute patterns like with Rilakkumas or Totoros. All in all, this worked great and was a great value. *Edit* As long I rezzed it on the ground, I was able to unlink the parts to get rid of the tag that came with it. (Make sure you make copies first!!) Then I linked my own badge to it and voila! School badge lanyard ^^

I bought this some time ago as a fun novelty but recently I've customized it fully and I now plan to wear my "Blogger ID" for any events I'm covering :-) ~the resizing can be tricky as you can only resize it so much using standard "edit" however if you have any experience with building and/or editing linked prims - you can easily modify this to fit any size/shape avatar..

What idiot makes what is essentially a necklace which has to fit avies of all different sizes as a No Mod or no-resize product? I just had my money stolen because the thing does not fit me and cannot be resized. I hope people like this creator enjoy stealing pennies. The size of the theft is indicative of the size of their brain.(Creator: choose to refund my money and I'll remove what is only an entirely honest review of a ill-conceived product.)

Does exactly what it says. Easy to use. Love it !
