Why waste time with other noticeboards when you could have the real thing? Whether you're running a professional office, a prim factory, or a tourist trap shop, the InfoCenter Display Kit can really make your presence known, and get your message out.
The InfoCenter Display Kit includes four different models. Each model has standard and Duo variants - Duo variants typically quadruple text capacity.
InfoCenter Personal - 16 x 1 (2 LI) or 32 x 2 (5 LI) characters. Ideal for general commercial use, and includes a variety of animated graphics for stores.
InfoCenter Notice - 16 x 7 (8 LI) or 32 x 14 (29 LI) characters. The highest-capacity model, ideal for news & information. Also includes graphics for commercial & industrial purposes.
InfoCenter Highway - 16 x 3 (4 LI) or 32 x 6 (13 LI) characters. Best suited for overhead gantry installations on roads, but can be used for walkway or general commercial applications.
InfoCenter Matrix - 4 x 2 (1 LI) or 8 x 5 (3 LI) characters. A road sign display with many graphics for lane control, variable speed limits, hazard warning, detours, turn restrictions, and more.
All models, excluding the Highway, have a toggleable mounting bracket. All are resizable and modifiable (scripts excluded), and can be linked to other objects (as long as multiple signs are not linked together).
InfoCenter models run on our grid-renowned InfoCenter Manager software, allowing you to program them from anywhere - not just in the same region. Our intuitive web interface guides you through setting your message, which can include multiple individual "slides" for any message you like. Plus, you can group signs together and save message templates, making it super simple to network. The included HTTP API lets you set your sign (or anyone else's, with their permission) from an LSL script anywhere in-world, or (for advanced programmers) from any web server anywhere in the real world.
See item in Second Life- Simple interface lets you design custom text messages using 8 colors
- Great for commercial storefronts & road traffic control
- Web controlled from anywhere in-world or out, w/ HTTP API for scripters
- Variety of graphics, from sales, to warnings, to digital road signs
Great Product & Features
This Display board is the best of any isl ever . They started very high prim count by other creators . But then the first Version of Genteks came out and they were already way lower prim count then anyone else's and now there even better . as well the features . and setup and even the cost for the variations u get . I suggest buying . playing . and enjoying :D
Great Product. Configuration Page Could Be Better
These do pretty much exactly what the description says. They are text display boards that are configured on a web page. There are no fancy effects other than flipping between pages. They look really good and the sizes have made them a lot more versitile in my uses than other text display boards. If you're looking for the most characters possible on a text board, this isn't the product I'd recommend. The text seems to render faster than other boards I've tried.
The configuration page is the weak link here and the reason I removed a star. If an item is going to have a web interface, it should be to make that item easier to use than an inworld solution. I can't say that about this one. The biggest issue is there's no way to edit a text page once it's created. If you need to make a small change (gate info or whatever) you have to retype everything for that text page. Even saving as a template doesn't help because it just saves the rendered page which you then can't edit. Just slightly less annoying is that you can't cut and paste text. In short, other than being able to actually see the color and overall look of the text as you're typing it, an inworld notecard system would actually be easier to use and maintain if the information has to be changed on a regular basis. I really hope these two bits of functionality can be added at some point.
Finally, in script time use, these seem a little high for just showing a static display. They aren't much different than some other message boards I looked at and better than some so I can't really complain too much. If this could be improved, that would be good of course.
In conclusion, if you need to update text often, I'd maybe look elsewhere unless/until the configuration page is updated. Otherwise, these are highly recommended.
Clear and concise
I am just at awe at the level of details I have never seen a digital board such as this. I would highly recommend all to buy this display kit! Its worth the buy!
Fantastic
I love the ability to change the signs from a website outside SL. Website is easy to use. Now I can do sign updates from my phone.
!!!!!! Great Product !!!! Best Signs In SL
I would like to say that these signs are the best ones i have found in secondlife. They are 100% mesh and all the sizes that are in the pack are perfect. The best part of this product is you get a web interface to place the text that you would like for it to say. It even has a few preset graphics that you can select with different sayings. they are even offering a 10% rebate if you writer a review. but i am going to opt out of this rebate cause i am not writing this for the rebate i really do like the product.
I am having a slight problem with the web interface, with an option where when i try to use a saved template. It is coming up blank but their support team is helping me with this problem and they are doing an excellent job.
