FREE Newbie helper!
This is meant to help newbies, but anyone can take advantage of the information in this.
This is a NoteCard that i made for a friend to make her entry into SL a little easier.
It explains that "Folders" are the key to make life inside your inventory a whole lot better, and describes how to create folders to help organize all aspects of your inventory to make it easier to find things long after you thought you knew exactly where something was, and now cant find it even by searching by what you thought its name was...lol.
It also explains how to create and save complete outfits in your inventory too for when you just want to "throw" something on without having to try clothes on and mix-n-match stuff when you dont really have the time to search through all your clothes to find something to wear.
Any and all comments or suggestions are welcome to help me update this as i think of more things to add to it.
and, it's Full Perm, so you can pass it along to who ever you want...even You can help other newbies...lol.

I agree this is a good resource for new folks to SL - although not a noob myself I got this so I could see if worth passing on the link to others and yes I certainly will be doing just that.
Great for newbies
Hi, I'm Rei and I'm a shopaholic AND I have OCD(bad combo) xD I have 20k items in my inventory and I already have all my folders organized with sub-folders, and sub-sub-folders and so on... I still have trouble finding things though, so now I've started taking pictures of my items and save them in my PC. I still hope someday to find the perfect way to have everything organized and easy to find(like The Sims inventory). I pray every night for a Martha Stewart for my SL inventory *giggles*
Great to give to newbies!
This is a simple way to explain folders to newbies and other who might have different viewers than you--making explaining rather difficult.
My partner was constantly complaining that he couldn't find anything in his inventory, but was reluctant to actually do the initial work of inventory organization. I came across JK's inventory organization tips, and this will be perfect to give him. He can go over it when he is ready to, and have it for reference.

Good Info - Not just for NEW members
Always good to see hints from those in the community who are open and willing to help others. I originally got this for my special Lady Friend while we were searching for Clothing Organizers in Marketplace. She found it helpful - as did I.
