4. Visual Effects
-Animations: The specially designed animations allow you to use your choice of AO with the pistol.The system works to prevent standard AO's from over-riding the pistol's animations (except one handed hold animation). The system can be disabled should you choose not to use it.
-Particles: The M1911 features custom particles for muzzle effects and spent casing ejection.All particles used are low intensity and do not cause latency (lag) or reduce frame rate.All particles may be disabled should you wish not to use them.
5. Control & Performance
The M1911 Tactical features several functional features to provide you with an exceptional combat experience.
-Combination Keys
The M1911 Tactical makes use of two sets of combo keys to provide quick access to vital features.These can be disabled if you should chose to do so.
-Quick-Crouch
Upon pressing "C" or "Page Down" the M1911 Tactical will change between standing and crouching postures.This feature can be disabled should you choose to do so.
-Velocity Adjustment
Bullet velocity may be adjusted between 10m/s and 250m/s to fit your needs.Suggested Velocity varies depending on use. The default setting is a general purpose velocity.

The only bullets featured by the M1911 Tactical are low-lag damage bullets.

An update wouldn't hurt
The gun is very good, but the product is outdated and needs to be updated. Namely, the addition of a new bento animation and a channel change function. By default secondary weapons should be placed in channel 2

Excellent 45 ACP
When you want to put a hole in someone, make it a big hole. I love the 45 ACP in RL and why not have it in SL but there haven't been spectacular models. The IA 45 M1911 is spectacular. While the finish could be better, the pistol functions flawlessly. Menu systems and controls are also flawless. I'd prefer being able to change the channels so it would not conflict with other weapons. Maybe it can, I don't know yet. Great job!!
Better than all the rest
For years I've waited for a new M1911 to come out on the grid. I'm so glad I waited and I'm driving this beauty whenever I can. I consider this and SAC's M9 my service weapons, even in my Sci-FI and Police RP's.
You just can't go wrong with a design that's seen every single armed conflict in the 20th century and is STILL being used by real life forces today.

Really I dont know how to feel about this gun... Really I like it but at the same time I kinda dont, Lets start with the Negatives. The gun itself feels alittle dated with the whole / commands as other great gun makers have moved away from [with huds or click the gun to draw it.] and the price.... Well the 1250L price tag is pretty high for a sidearm Even with the anms and all that. I feel its more that 900 range due to the fact its supposed to be a sidearm, Another problem is needing a /command to access the menu of the gun. But now for the bright side of things, This gun is possibly one of the best M1911s on SL The detail with the holster is pretty great [even though theres no draw animation] Its very a very accurate gun when in RP or in a fire fight. Also the person behind Iron sights is a pretty awesome person as hes willing to show you the gun and how it works from the guns animations and avatar animations, So I dont think 4 stars is overly generous But this gun could be better with a few small tweaks.
Best M1911 yet
Been waiting for a while now to get this beauty. I love the customizable option (my fav the hot rod and engraved) very high quality. It does what it was made for.. Shoot and kill.
As an MCE combatant, this is my favorite sidearm, , this gun is accurate, low lag and it looks pretty when doing so. It's raycast feature makes it one the best weapon in SL, entirely.
