The Ironsight Armaments Saco Defense M60 was designed and scripted with realism in mind. During the process of buildings, scripting, creating the custom sounds, and beta testing, several US Armed Forces veterans and active members helped shape the gun to feel as close to the real weapon they used and served with. It has met and exceeded their expectations.

"draw" or "d" or "rdraw" or "rd" - Draws the weapon for usage
"sling" or "rsling" - Stows the weapon
"reload" or "r" - Reloads the weapon
"semi" or "s" - Sets the weapon to semi-automatic fire mode
"auto" or "a" - Sets the weapon to automatic fire mode (Default)
"melee" or "m" - Performs a melee strike
"damage" - Loads regular white damage bullets (Default)

---Functional Notes---
-The Tracer setting on this weapon sets the weapon to fire 4 low-visibility rounds, followed by a high-visibility tracer round. The bullets fired in this mode have the exact same low lag bullet script found in all Ironsight Armaments damage bullets. The difference lies in the visual difference. The normal bullets are full-bright, white in color, and use the regular fade texture. The bullets fired in Tracer Mode are 75% alpha, and white in color with the same fade texture, followed by a pale red-orange bullet with partial glow and the same fade texture.
-Tracer option: The 4:1 ratio of the tracer rounds means that for after every 4 low-visibility bullets, one high visibility tracer will be fired.

God, this is a sexy gun.
At 500L, this gun is a steal. A detailed model, gunporn-level sounds, and of course, Tsume's efficient and stable scripting, all combine in this, the pinnacle of General Purpose Machine Guns. The M60 is, without a doubt, an amazing weapon, and Ironsight faithfully reproduces it in this gun. Anyone looking for a hardy, no nonsense, "Holy shit, they're shooting at us!" support weapon, look no further. You've found it.
Excilent weapon
Really. For a HMG this has to be by far my favorite weapon of all time. This is honestly Worth the money, its cheep priced and realiable. What more can you ask for in a gun that is realistic. ISA has always made sure their products are up to date, and preforming at their highest. This weapon is one of a kind and it'll never let you down. Still hasn't for me.
tl;dr: Buy it. Its cheep, and realiable and will never fail you in the long run.
Worth the money
I've never bought an SL weapon before, and this one does what I need it do without a whole bunch of laggy scripting. I agree the animation could be better but you really can't beat it for the price.
Good looking, but lacks certain features.
This is a beautiful looking M60. However, the animations are noobie looking. This is my second gun from this store, and so far, nothing really makes me want to buy more.
You gotta admit
sometimes its the little details that make a difference. For such a simple LMG, it is jam packed full of little things. The M60 itself is perfectly designed and brilliantly scripted, again, to be low lag for SL combat. The addition of tracer rounds is fantastic for idetifying the target you want taken down as well as Identifying your bullets in a firefight. The sounds are incredibly real and as close to the sounds of a real M60 as you could get without, say, actually holding a real one in your hands and pulling the trigger. There are animations for everything, including reloading the ammo belt. One of the best things I saw on this gun was one of the tiniest little details, when you go into prone position if you look at the gun you'll notice that the support legs fold down to rest on the ground. I saw that and for some reason it just brought a smile to my face. How many people go that far when building guns to actually make the Bipods unfold when you go prone? Not alot... I've checked... another great thing is all the research that goes into an ISA weapon beforehand. If you bother to read the manual all the way through, which I highly recommend since there is more to a weapon than click and shoot, you reach the bottom where there is an extensive blurb on the history of the M60as well as detailed information on the operation of the Gun itself. I enjoy reading about the guns as much as I enjoy using them. It never hurts to learn more about the rifle or pistol or machine gun in your hands. Knowledge on the battlefield is a powerful thing. Great gun, great value, great as always. Again I would highly recomend this to anyone who was a fan of Vietnam era weapons, or anyone looking for a really good General Purpose Machine Gun.
Perfect sounds
Probly the best sounds I've heard on an SL weapon the model itself is nicley detailed without being exsessivly primmy and the texture fits nicley overall an excelent weapon
