I didn't get the Oceanic, but got the Loonetta instead.Last I checked, they don't sale it on MP,have to get it in-world.Sailing the Oceanic or the Loonetta is so much fun.Took me a bit to get used to controlling the sails and wind direction, but once I did the most fun I'd had on SL in awhile. The look, quality, detail and textures, all can I say about them is WOW! All the other boats I looked at this nice are hundreds of prims, and the Oceanic and Loonetta are only 32,no attaching anything to your avi,and I can leave it out at my dock without taking up tons of prims. Both have the smoothest sim crossing of all the boats I've tried out, hardly noticeable.Very easy to drive,so smooth. Can take lots of friends or family out for a fun day out on the sea.Nice animations as well.Enuff said,if you get this demo,I guarantee you'll get the full version. The full versions of either one is well worth the price. Now he needs to build a speed/ski boat to take out friends for a fun day of skiing, tubing,or wake boarding, and I'd buy that one as well.

I actually ended up buying the Loonetta, which isn't on the Marketplace but is at the same location as the Oceanic. This guy builds the best sailboats I've tried Second Life...barre none! Read the instructions, though there really isn't that much to learn, and take her out for a spin. Nothing to attach to you, no HUD needed, don't have to stand up to change seats and great looks. Try the Oceanic to get a feel for it, it's a bit big to suit me which is why I opted for the Loonetta but either way you go...you can't beat the quality. Some may wonder why I only gave it 4 stars. I generally don't ever hand out the 5th star. There is always something that can be tweaked or improved upon.

I had been on the fence for long time with his bikes till I bought one then its like, wow I bought all the other crap ones should have got this first. Several folks mentioned he making boats. but every ones making crap out of mesh, just about everything I bought that was mesh so far., just garbage usually something pulled form a mesh site imported and basic crappy scripts dropped in it
this is not mesh, so I'm happy the demo actually didn't poof after futzing with so you can really kick the tires on this cause I crashed several times while crawling over it, playing the animation, it has fair number of nice features and like most of this thing some customization
so this is on my shopping list lol damn I just get rid of the water sims.. now gotta get some more

Seriously if the sheer number of Oceanics and Loonettas sailing in and docked around every body of water in sl, seas, lakes, ponds and large puddles hasn't convinced you to buy one of there then the demo definately will. I can't add anything to the review except for a plea to Motor Loon to BUILD MORE BOATS!!! OF ANY KIND!!! WE WILL BUY THEM!!!

I agree with Starbuckk, the only thing stopping me from purchasing the full version is that it's no mod. :(
