SHABBY MATTED PICTURE FRAME

============
DESCRIPTION:
============

*** A texture change, mesh picture frame.
*** Easy touch menu.
*** 9 different vintage wood textures.
*** 9 different vintage matte textures
*** Original Mesh
*** Only 1 Prim
*** 2 versions included: Shadow Version and Texture Version.
*** Canvas texture included to layer your own alpha prim over.
*** Canvas AO included.

There are two versions of the picture frame included:

The Shadow version has a built in shadow on the frame itself. Any picture or texture you add will have a natural shadow in front of it. No need to add one in a photo manipulation program like Gimp or Photoshop. If you are familiar with texturing faces, you can edit the picture frame and select the shadow face to change the tint of it. It is a white shadow that has been tinted a dark gray to be fairly neutral and universal. However, depending on the picture you put in the frame, you may want to change the tint of the shadow to reflect a more realistic shadow effect. Shadows in RL are usually not black. They are just a darker hue of whatever surface they are falling on.

The Texture version has no built in shadow. If you want to put a picture in the frame that already has a shadow or other shading added in a photo manipulation program, this might be a better option. Of course you can always make the shadow face transparent on the other frame with the built in shadow, but for those who don't know how to select faces, this might be a better option..

There are two included textures besides the 9 wood and 9 matte textures already loaded in the menu. The first texture is simply called "Canvas". This is a basic, shaded, blank canvas texture. Nice as a filler if you want to make a collage of several frames, or want to place your own alpha textures over it.

The second is called "Canvas AO". This is a shadow map texture you can upload to your computer if you are familiar with photo manipulation programs such as Gimp or Photoshop. Layering this texture over a photo you want to upload and put in the frame will add a slight shadow and give your pic a more finished look. If you are unsure how to use AO or shadow map textures there are plenty of tutorials on YouTube. It's really quite easy once you get the hang of it.

Looks exactly as depicted, good work. SL looks way too tidy, so I'm always in for some aged textures. Well done, and thanks for sharing.
