║ To make use of the "shortcodes" feature (outlined below), the files containing a shortcode CANNOT
║ contain any embedded inventory items which causes the notecard to become unreadable.
║ This is a limitation of an LSL function which is out of our control.

║ The NFS (Notecard Filing System) is an excellent tool for both personal & group use.
║ It's capable of holding large quantities of notecards, and offers great operation flexibility!
║
║ The System Manager allows you to setup the system exactly how you want users to operate it!
║ Add users by name, then specify their permissions; you choose to allow or disallow access to view
║ files, add files, and remove files.
║
║ You can also allow one or more groups access to the system — adding groups is much like adding a
║ a user to the system. Simply input the group UUID, then specify the permissions to view files, add files,
║ and remove files. Anyone (other than a user already listed) that is wearing a permitted group tag will
║ be able to access the system and be granted the permissions that has been defined for that group.
║
║ The most unique feature offered in this system is the 'File Shortcodes'!
║ Shortcodes may allow you to: set a file under a specific category or lock a file with a password which
║ has to be validated before it can be delivered.
║
║ Those who have authorized access to view files can choose to view all files that are in the system,
║ search for files based on file name OR by category (set via category shortcode). Upon selecting a file,
║ the user is presented with options to: "Deliver File" and "Remove File" (if permissions are set).
║
║ If you or a fellow user has removed a file, whether it be intentional or not, the owner can restore it!
║ All deleted files are kept on-hand in a separate directory which can be accessed by the owner.
║ This directory can be manually cleared by the owner only at anytime!
║
║ The system also has a backup feature which allows the owner to make a complete backup of all the
║ files that are presently in the system. This action creates a separate object which all files will be
║ copied to, and is recorded with a timestamp. Backups can then easily be picked up and stored in your
║ inventory.

Just got this!
I script myself but there are some things in life you don't learn to do and something this complex is something I will learn eventually but need now as my sim takes off. After reading the features list I just clicked add to cart. You had me at user access and the overkill was the owner can restore notecards feature

Looks good not sure what all the individual items in the set-up notecard are yet .. hoping this is easy. All I wanted was to set it to public and have me for owner/admin. Nice that it is low prim. I tried to see this in-world, but the store didn't exist and I got a free fall to the ground below.. lol
Just what I been searching for.
Three days ago i was looking for file cabinet that do all that this file cabinet features. What I found was cabinet that advertised it hold an share note cards to find it out. Not only does it not hold not cards an let me save an edit an remove like this does. But it had set sections for inventory items. Which was not what I was looking for. I stumble on another product looking for something for my new store. Check the full shop of this creator an found more then one items needed an this was one of the items that I been looking for. Great for department rp like police, govern office as well as keeping an sharing document with staffs. I use this product in my personal home as well as all my place of business it has made keeping my important note card documents organized an easy to find. There no file cabinet like it for sure. I looked an looked an this is far the best. This was such a good find.
