The NorPhone PBX is a multi-purpose networking tool developed by Northbridge Business Systems for use on the Gentek Telecom network.
ALL NORPHONE PRODUCTS ARE ACTUAL FUNCTIONING TELEPHONES! They are the ONLY phones in Second Life that actually place and receive calls gridwide. You can talk to anyone with a NorPhone using text chat.
The NorPhone PBX is a specialized call routing tool used to create line splitters, phone trees, and holding queues. Incoming calls can trigger multiple phones to ring at the same time (split), be routed to a specific line depending on the caller's choice (dial tree), find a single available line in a call center (sequence), or hold the call with optional music until the "downstream" phone is available (hold). The PBX cannot make calls on its own, and cannot be used without connecting it to one or more other NorPhones.

IF you purchased a phone already you should highly consider this powerful call routing tool. It allows you to do so many things and is well worth the investment. This is the tool you need if you want all your phones to ring when someone calls. It can do a lot more than that and allows you to create a far more complex routing network if you want to.

I bought this to go with the phones, and have set them up in several places- my business, my friends' businesses... It adds so much to the RP and realism of a business. The features offered with it are simply amazing. It was a little difficult to setup at first, but as long as you carefully read and follow the instructions on their website, it's not that bad. Well worth it!!
