Necessity.
This was key to making my beach something beyond just sl.
Excellent
Look very real, beautiful waves, realistic looking sand and rocks. The ability to change the sand colors is great. The original/default color of this sand is a New-Englandy grayish tan, so be aware that you can't go LIGHTER than that; I probably should have bought the tropical beach set for my own land as it has nearly white sand so in the end I wasn't able to match the colors. That's my own fault, though; this is an excellent set and I love the things this builder makes.
Lovin' It!
Another Fine product by Skye!
Alex makes this stuff easy, I just refuse to read those notecards :)
No bad
Well it is good stuff but sand color adjust is pain in the ass ,owner should make it easy way to adding in hud textures of SL standard sand textures
Nice Set!
I have designed sims and created builds here in SL for some years now. For the first time I took a shortcut....buying several beach/tropical packs to quickly put together a tropical paradise. I must say, these sets are easy to set up and tweak to fit with the most basic of building skills. Well Done Alex! Thank you!
mixed
The idea of a beach (ground) building set is nice and was exactly what I was looking for. The textures that are used are of good quality and much better then the default region sand/ground.
However, in practice I have a hard time to make my beach environment look realistic with this set. Besides of not getting the colors/tint perfectly blended the main issue is that when you look at it at any other time then 12:00 midday the whole beach with all the sections look like seperate ground plates, you really see that the sand parts are sepetate prim sections due to the lightfall and the shading of the prims.
I ended up detaching the nice rocks and now use normal region ground with the rocks, so the rocks are still useful.
