If you are using the official Second Life Viewer or the latest Firestorm (or other 3rd party viewers) then you CAN see PBR - use the V3[PBR] set.
If you use an old viewer and don't want to update, then you CANNOT see PBR - use the V2[LEGACY] set.

TL;DR: Making a sandy beach? BUY THIS SET, it's the best on the market right now!!!
I bought this set prior to the update. This set has gone from "good" to "you NEED this set if you're building a sandy beach!!!" The water washing up on the sand is hands-down the best looking, most realistic I've seen to date in SL! The prefab sections make using this a breeze, or you can go hands-on with the individual pieces. My only comment would be that the spec map on the wet sand is maybe a bit extra shiny... but it's mod so you can totally tweak it to your needs (I did). Comes with the textures and materials, so if you know advanced modding you can make the rest of your terrain pieces blend with it too!

This review is for the new V2 beach set
Which is fantastic! Thank you much for the new design. Loved the previous version and this takes it to a new level with a realistic wet-sand effect, some of the most realistic waves ever to grace SL, and a more seamless appearance, with the usual Skye modding and construction flexibility. Well worth the investment if you don't own this already.
Awesome Update
The first Version was already great to work with, this one is even better. If you want a sandy beach ... I would definitly suggest to get it. There even some sample builds in it which makes it even easier for beginners to see how to use the Building Set to its full potential
Oof Pure Meshy Perfection
Skye is always the way to go in landscaping matters and this beach kit was no exception. It basically built up my whole plot into a functional mini island where there was nothing before. Plus, it brought this atmosphere which is what counts. Thanks so much, bravo once again!!
