How It Works: The 8-Head Proportion Tool offers two simple methods to refine your avatar:
A) New height
Enter the avatar shape height you desire by adjusting the caliper value [+-], the tool will change scale accordingly.
Now Edit your shape, first the head size slider so your head fit between the calipers (use the move calipers up/down to center the calipers on your head), continue and adjust the other Edit shape sliders (Torso & Legs) so your feet are resting on the bottom guide.
OR
B) Proportions Fix using existing Head Height
Adjust caliper position up/down and the caliper head height value [+-] so the calipers are now measuring your current head height, the tool will change its scale accordingly.
Now Edit your shape sliders for Torso & Legs so your feet are resting on the bottom blue guide.

Now for both A and B:
Refine your shape using the blue guides as reference, keeping the feet resting on the bottom blue guide.
Especially keep the crotch height correct in the center (4) using Torso & Legs sliders.
For body height, adjusting a slider will affect other sliders so you will need to return and balance them.
You can click the white outline drawing to slide it over.
Use Pose 3 to adjust arm length.

Good Idea but doesnt save time -Not worth the 700L
This isnt something most people would use often and it took too long to get started. You can spend the same amount of time learning proportions.
Too Difficult
For me anyway even though it appears well made, this tool is too difficult for me to understand.

As Animator have a propotional shape its Key to success! So everytime I change my shape I use this system! I recommend it to all my costumers who want to match perfectly with my animations!

The proportions make SO much bigger a difference than I ever thought, my avi already looks so much better and I'm so excited to keep playing with this product, but had to stop to give it the well deserved 5 stars before I forgot!!

Gotta know the rules to break them! Get this tool.
Do you like very stylized avis with big ol' anime tiddies or thicccccc hips and a giant derriere? Get this tool anyway. Professional artists who do stylized human figures (for any sort of animation or comics, for instance) have drilled actual real human proportions until they can render them blindfolded. Once you have realistic proportions down, any stylization you do after that looks *so much better*. It makes you look like a pro artist. So regardless of whether you like realistic avis or you like to have stylized proportions, having a good base to work from is essential. I use this rig with every humanoid avi I make. It's a must have tool. Don't eyeball it - get this!
Amazing tool!
Is a very great tool! I used some images about human body proportions and other tool form other store, worked well but this product is awesome! You can adjust and fix the shape very easy and more clear, all the SL users with human avatars need this amazing too, really you need to buy it!!!! I also gifted the male versions to my husband, he love this tool too!!!
Suggestion: Please create one for kids, human kids are not a miniautre or micro avatar, I have a kid bot for my family RP and I try to create her shape like a real human kid but I know for sure with this amazing tool for kids her shape will looks better!
