Thank you for looking :OTR: Multi Character IC Talker HUD! This HUD is a roleplayer's great companion. You can save up to 12 character names in a notecard. Once character names are saved, you can choose a name from a menu triggered by touch. Character change is easy and discreet -- no more awkward name-switching by chat command in the middle of roleplay!
This version also allows you to speak and emote with three chat ranges -- standard (20m - "say" range), whisper (7m range), and shout (100m range). The variability in the chat range gives you more flexibility, especially when you are playing with a large avatar and/or a flying race.

To use the HUD:
1) Wear it (HUD will attach at your center HUD by default).
2) Click the button (and choose "Edit". Find a notecard saying "Character Names" under a "Content" tab.
3) Change names in the notecard to names of your character, one line per name. Do not leave a blank line between names. You can add up to 12 names.
4) Touch the button -- a list of names appear in a blue window. Select a name.
5) You are ready to go!

/22 = Emote
/44 = Speak with no name
/55 = OOC (character name + OOC).
[Whisper Option (7m hearing range)]
/330 = Whisper as a character
/220 = Whisper/Emote
/440 = Whisper with no name
/550 Whisper OOC (character name + OOC).
[Shout Option (100m hearing range - please use responsibly)]
/331 = Shout as a character
/221 = Shout/Emote
/441 = Shout with no name
/551 Shout OOC (character name + OOC).

Say '/99 menu' to display the menu.

Of course this chatter offers the possibilities to talk and emote with your character name, or to post something without the character name or Out of Character (OOC). And if you set the default channel in the 'Communicate' window of the viewer you can simply talk IC using '/me'. All those features are quite common, but it has much more!:
* You can use it for 12 different characters by simply editing the notecard inside it and writing down in it the names of your character, and to switch from a character to another one you just have to click the HUD.
* Last but not least, not only it works with the 'say' function (20m range), but it works too with the 'whisper' (7m range) and 'shout' (100m) functions too!
Considering the price, I just think any single RPer in SL should get it!
