Exactly what I was looking for
You know. I've been searching the marketplace for almost an hour now, fustratingly typing in random words that mean the same thing has hover, getting zillions of hover text scripts (which are so open and free now I have over 100 in my inventory.. why are they still trying to sell that junk script?.. anyway) I finally found it! Then I look and it doesn't have any permissions. OMG this is getting irritating, then out of the blue comes this small add for only 14L. That's a reasonable price for a full permission script. So, I tentatively make the purchase, put the script inside my object and it works like a charm! Thank you Old Bohemian for making this script and for making it available full permission and with an awesome price. It does exactly what it says it does, and it's exactly what I was looking for.
