Don't accept inferior or freebie versions with tricky specialist textures, or less planes, or bad Level Of Detail at low distances, or scripted texturing. This is the original One Prim Plant shape, that one that started it all. It will accept standard textures and doesn't degrade like other versions do.

Incredibly useful! Anyone who's ever been frustrated at trying to add a little colorful landscaping to their property without breaking their prim budget or being restricted to the generic Linden plants will really appreciate the ability to plant a whole garden for only 1/4 of the prims... or, have up to four times as many plants for the same number of prims you're using now! The instructions that come with it are dead simple to follow; all you need to do is find some suitable plant textures and start "planting"!

The only thing you'll lose out on is that since your single-prim plants will be sculptie-based, they can't also be made "flexi" to wave in the breeze -- but for most plants, this shoudn't be that big a deal; it's unlikely most people will notice, especially with smaller plants, or plants that are meant to be rigid, like cactus.

I'm quite impressed with this little sculptie, it includes excellent instructions (which I misread *blush* however JubJub responded quickly and politely helped me so I could get it to work) and it's taken every alpha texture I've used on it very well.

It could be just me but it also seems to have less 'alpha conflict' than your standard plants made with more prims in the same fashion, the alphas seem to meld more smoothly into each other, regardless it looks excellent, can't recommend it highly enough and such a great price!

Do'nt get too excited, while this provides a viable prim count saving solution, those savings made are quickly outweighed by the alpha sort issues. I think the maker should make a 3 or even 2 plate version. There has to be a balance between detail and quality.

Makes very nice bushy trees and flowers.

Texture quality is critical: any haloing shows up 8X worse!

Works best if the texture is centered, and has a couple clear pixels of alpha. If the plant touches the edge you can see some faint edges where there should be transparent.
