ROOST Homes - 'Palm View' House

***Flat Land (no terraforming needed
Sloped Land (YES Terraforming needed!)***

***To Have your house on sloped land you will need the
Driveway & Path Kit also so the front stairs fit)

Beautiful modern 3 story home made of 100% Original Mesh that is custom created by us.
Main (middle) floor has a large joint kitchen/dining area on one side and a spacious living room on the other side with the beautiful slatted stairwell in the centre to separate the 2 areas. A full patio deck runs around the back of the house on the middle level, and also off the dining room you have a massive front decking area that also joins to the main entry of the home.

If you go down the stairs from the middle level you'll come to the ground floor level. There you have the Garage, a back door exit to the house, 2 generous bedrooms both with sliding doors to outside patio decks, and also a laundry and huge bathroom space that could be used alternatively as another bedroom.

If you instead go from the middle level up the stairs, then you come to the Master suite. To the left you have the bedroom with sliding doors to a
private deck with views on both sides of the house, and to the right you have the wardrobe room and a door through to an ensuite or perhaps you could use that space for an office or baby nursery.

For the flat land version no terraforming is needed.
To use the sloped driveway add-on however you will need to do some terraforming using the Sloped version of the Palm View House in this pack.

The walls and floors are tintable to fit your own colour scheme by using 'Select Face' in Edit mode.

Stunning Workmanship
full star full star full star full star full star Posted October 28, 2016 by Stormm Bloodrose

This house is just a dream. The layout is well thought out, the texture work is perfection and at only 119 LI for the largest version of the house, it can't be beat.
Regarding the "issue" with the bathroom walls that was mentioned in another review, they fit perfectly into place in well under 2 mins for me, getting my camera angled properly so I could maneuver the edit arrows and see what I was doing was a little tricky, but still, not a reason for a 1 star review, especially if the creators weren't notified and even asked for help. It is highly unfair because the review is actually about the customers inability to edit properly, not something actually wrong with the house itself.
I own seven Roost homes now and I have never had an issue, the people are very nice and would have helped if they had been given a chance. Their time, dedication and workmanship deserves to be respected and reviewed fairly.
I highly recommend this house if you want a home with style and attention to detail and great customer service.

Bathroom Walls Disappointing
full star empty star empty star empty star empty star Posted September 30, 2016 by North Dakota

I am disappointed that the bathroom walls do not fit the house even with editing as in the model. The second bathroom walls will on edit up or down (bigger or smaller) nothing like on the Roost sim. I wanted to love this home, but if you can't get the bathroom walls to work in editing, then there is no reason to purchase.
