The Radiation Queen is a wireless radio inspired by the Capital Wasteland's Radiation King.
The model is 100% mesh with a highest LOD of 904 triangles and a lowest LOD of 15 triangles, so it's pretty friendly to look at. The small details are surface-transferred from a high-polygon model and baked in to 6 texture variations, selectable through the menu. The radio uses materials and will look best with advanced lighting enabled.
The radio is scripted to play music, and is fed formatted notecards that contain the sound UUIDs of each song. 10 free authentic tracks have been included, and you can add as many of your own songs as you want, too.
The Radiation Queen can play songs randomly or alphabetically, once or continuously, and is simply touch to start/stop. Touching the tuning dials will change track and cause the tuning needle scan the display while it loads. Other features include an "Auto Start" option to determine whether the radio waits to be tuned when it is switched on, and a "No Music" option to prevent the radio from playing any music at all.
Tuning and static sounds can be toggled, volume can be adjusted globally or for individual tracks, and controls can be restricted to owner, group or anyone. The radio is also modifiable and can be resized, unlinked or de-scripted for use as a static prop.

I bought this, and its the best Old World radio on SL
Bought it a while back and got in touch with the maker, asked for ADDITIONAL SONGS, and they delivered within seconds. They are the best and this product is one of a kind, 6/5 STARS
Amazing
I love the attention to detail and the overall performance of this radio. Its detailed, it works and it also is low on prims. All in all some serious talent here with that kind of attention to detail to even animate the needle. With how smooth it was I genuinely thought it was a screen or something showing the needle.
Only suggestion I would have is to make the grills on the front 3D but that is nit picking with the detail already shown.
So eclectic!
I think this the only one like this I have seen. Found it at the Dinah Mozes diner.
The best of the best
Worth every Linden. Top quality build, works flawlessly, little to no lag at all even in the crowded Fallout San Francisco RP sim.
Adds Character to My Grungy Beach Hut
The perfect accessory that will add old-world charm to any home requiring depth of character. The music volume doesn't carry too far which is good a on sim with close neighbours, so they won't be disturbed.
Lovely!
Looks great, sounds awesome, love the tunes, the design. Thank you!
